Presentation time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mark Pereira and Rachel

PNP portfolio presentation in the morning went quite smoothly, the teachers gave me mostly good comments. And to think that I could actually lose sleep the night before worrying on how it's gonna turn out! But of course I'm not gonna get too cocky on that, I am gonna do a few more adjustments before sending the documents for print.

I received an SMS from a friend stating that Fel will be involved in some show that also involves fans being part of her 'concert', cos she plays a pop star named Cherry (yep, Feimao's real name!!) in an 8-part drama. Problem is, one needs to be free on both 10th and 11th March in order to be able to be part of 'Cherry''s fanclub. And I'm only available on 11th March, hmmm. More details can be found at http://www.chenfengling.com/

I read MKP's blog, HAHA HUOGAI!!! It seemed that someone stole his handphone while he went filming. SERVES YOU RIGHT, Mr Siao Kia!!! That will teach ya for badmouthing others and harassing several artistes!!! I think it will be even cooler if his camera is next to get stolen!!!

Nat and Thomas the 'Kidults'

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kai Leng and Hui Fang

Nat and Thomas are featured in this week's i-weekly... grab your copy now! (yep, I admit that I'm still a kid at heart too)

Personally, I'm very happy that Nat finally got major coverage this time round, even though it's not a solo one. Likewise I'm also happy for Thomas for getting major coverage as well, after a long period of MIA. Nat last appeared on the cover of i-weekly with Ping Hui, Bryan and Pierre some 7 mths ago when "Honor and Passion" was about to be shown on TV (that was the show that got me noticing him). As for Thomas... hmmm, I can't remember the last time he appeared on the cover (2 years i guess?).
They both appeared in the same drama "Metamorphosis", but Thomas' role as 'Judge Ironfist' Hu Xicun was a major one, while Nat's role as Yvonne LiWen Wanrou's (Yvonne Lim) younger brother Pinliang was a very minor role, appearing in only a handful of episodes before he got killed off in a freak accident in Ep 15. Hopefully, Nat and Tom will get to appear in the same drama again in the near future... :-)

And now I present to you the pictures of 'The Kid' and the 'Kidult'!

Pictures of Nat Ho

Pictures of Thomas Ong

Do grab your copy of 8 days too... another hunk is featured, along with his babelicious wife. It's Allan Wu and Wong Li Lin!! If not for Edison Chen's photo scandal, the topic on Sex-pose wouldn't be featured here! Muahaha...

More rantings about MKP

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Maria Kanellis, Gary Huang and Eunice

Ok, I guess I better reveal MKP's name now... since he likes to find fault on other people, now it's my turn to make him more infamous.

Sean Koh aka Mr Kiam Pa, Mr Hao Lian Zhu, Mr Egoistic, Mr Moronic, Mr Retarded, Attention Seeker... call him any name you like.

And his name stands for...

It's really sad to know that such insecure, over-sensitive, egoistic, obsessive, jealous and low-class people like Sean Koh have to exist in this world. I know he's not the only one, but the thought of encountering such a person upclose is enough to make me go sick in the stomach. Not just me for that matter, but particularly ANYONE. At least Edison Chen was sincere and repentant to admit his mistakes and apologize to everyone over the web photo scandal that's been going on for some time, but this guy remains unapologetic and utterly remorseless over his sins that had lasted for more than a year!!! Even if MKP were to ask for forgiveness someday (which I doubt will ever happen, given his stubbornness), he will still be UNFORGIVEN. And yes, There WILL Be Blood.

Sean Koh (or should I call you MKP?), you should thank me and many others for making you infamous right now. You have just made yourself Mediacorp fans' Number 1 Enemy. It's obvious that you became an extra only because you wanna 'get close' to the artistes around you, not for money or experience!!! You are no better than the chilidish spammers who insult any celeb in the forums. You keep saying that some people should take a look at themselves in the mirror, but I think that YOU are the one who should look at yourself and do some soul searching, damnit!!! For goodness sake, please stop going after the artistes and look for another job, or retake your O levels if you have the B***s to!! You don't understand what I say??? Then let me use simplified English for this last phrase... If you want some, then COME GET SOME!!!

I don't wish to waste any more time expressing my hatred towards a donkey in my blog.

DAMN YOU, MKP!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ric Flair, Dira and Amber

I read MKP's blog recently, and I am greatly angered by his latest blog entry!! UNFORGIVABLE!!! How i wish I could turn into The Hulk!!! I know he isn't badmouthing me this time round (he actually did that before), but after reading it, I feel I need to thrash it all out right here, right now!!

This is what he typed (colored letters and Verdana)... the words in Times New Roman format are my replies...
Wah today was extremely tired and boring!!!! Nothing nice in mediacorp today!!!
Now then you know!!! (oh man this is getting fun)

Whole day face that 'P' lady, that face of her is extremely disgusting! The sight of her face makes me feel like puking.
I don't know who you're referring to, but I think your face AND attitude disgust me even more!!!

Everywhere she go, she chase, mediacorp have got just too much stars and competitions already. The upcoming one 'You are the one' 'Wei wo du zun' also want to chase.
Cannot ah??? What other people do is totally none of your business!!!

I have been going back to mediacorp for many days and seeing all the stars and artistes,it just don't give me any special feeling anymore. The feeling i get from chasing during their events is so different from, when i see them in mediacorp.
If 'the special feeling you once got from chasing artistes' is gone, then why the hell are you still chasing stars in Mediacorp?!?!

I am not intenting to go to much events since i am able to go into mediacorp to see them, its useless to 'fight' over an artiste with so many people during events. Really meh??? YOU are the one who always want to pick a fight with others, not just over any artiste, but over ANYTHING!!!

Mediacorp is complicated, often u get people trying to harm you or badmouth you behind your back.
Well, that's because you like to badmouth everyone around you, except your close friends and your 'Precious'!!!

There is one group of girls who always go to the wardrobe unit each and every single day, during lunch time and after work sitting there, waiting for every single stars in mediacorp.I really find it horrible, they are not true at all, take pictures for the sake of their popularity, how realistic man!
I think I know which group of gals you are referring to!! Bloody hell, what point are you driving at??? That you are 'better than them', huh?!?! You think you are 'very true'?!?! AT LEAST they have true friends, NOT like you who likes to make enemies!!! You have NO RIGHT to insult them!!! Stop trying to act like an 'angel', cos you're NOT!!!

They are either lowly educated or school dropout students coming to mediacorp looking for stars.
How about you??? I bet you failed your O levels, that's why you can't go to poly, am I right!!! If I'm not wrong, you flunked your English right!!! I can tell by the lack of grammar and sentence structure in your entries!!!

They are really very fake, saying things they didn't mean and doing things opposite from what they say.
How about you??? You never 'do things opposite from what you say 'meh???? You never 'say things you didn't mean'????? You are not fake meh?????? }:-@

Most of the artistes in mediacorp should know what kind of people they are, they are able to judge it for themselves.I don't want to have anything to do with them anymore.
You think they would even give a shit about you?!?! YOU are the one who like to judge others!!!

all get rid off my friendster, they are just trying their best to stay in my friendster with evil motive.
Hopefully there will be hackers who will proceed to delete BOTH your Friendster accounts one of these days!!! And perhaps even delete that stupid blog of yours!!! I would like to 'thank you very much' for deleting me off your Friendster list last year, cos I was actually planning to do the exact thing!!!

Many people life and future is ruin because of too much star chasing, which lead to their lifetime regret in the future.
How about you???? Aren't you gonna feel any regret in future??? You must be talking about yourself, I think!!!

I am really numb seeing the artistes already, not going to be high anymore.
REALLY???? Once again I say, if you are 'really numb right now', then what the hell are you doing at Mediacorp?!?!

Its just so amazing that how come this will actually happened to me!I find it a good thing yeah!
First you said that you're 'not feeling high' after working at Mediacorp for so long, then you suddenly get high and say that it's a good thing?!?! Come on, you are nothing but a small-fry extra!!!
They can continue to go chasing for the whole mediacorp star for all i care.
Well you can stop sneering at others, shut the hell up and go fuck yourself, FOR ALL I CARE!!!

Saw felicia today didn't get high at all for the first time and just looking at those gals chasing.Didn't take a picture with her too, felicia knows who is true to her.She have eyes to see what is going on in mediacorp.
Will you please stop stalking poor Fel, for crying out loud!!!! You are million times worse than Gollum!!! I'm sure you got very high the moment you saw her, am i right?!?! SICK FREAK!!!

Have u ever been to a pub or have u ever been to a hotel as tall as 70 storey?I am so happy to say that i have been there for the first time!It was a great experience man!I will let the pics do the speaking.
The pictures of the cityscape from the top of a 70-storey building may look impressive, but do you really have to upload all of them in your stupid blog?!?! Seeing so many pics will make others' eyes go sore, damnit!!! I bet your brain depends totally on your digicam!!! Lighting effect so poor, still wanna take and upload!!! You are nothing but a certified CAMERA WHORE!!!!

You leave me no choice but to upload this picture that I created sometime before Chinese New Year...

HAHAHA!!! How you like that now, sumbitch!!! THAT will teach you to keep your fucking mouth SHUT!!!
MKP, it's all thanks to you that 'The Game' has just begun.

So much to do, so little time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Weng Lihong, Daphne Ang and Le Yao

Firstly, congrats to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for the birth of their twins!! :-)
This week got no event*, so sian. But that comes off as a blessing of some sort, so I'm gonna make use of this weekend to stay at home and finish up on my school assignment... how I wish I had a Wacom tablet right now. Life would be easier then, and I wouldn't need to go through the troubles of tracing out the drawings via mouse. I am seriously being stressed out greatly from the sheer pressure of the assignments that I need to finish in 2 weeks' time. So much til I get mental blocks sometimes... and I have to delay my plans to go to the National Museum to a later date in favor of completing my projects.
* CORRECTION... there is a JJ Lin event at Bugis Junction on Sunday (24/02), but I chose not to go cos I need to finish up on project.

Some thoughts abt school... I think it's already too late for me to quit from school right now. Some say that it's better to 'carry on fighting' and gain something than quit halfway and not be involved in the battle at all. I have been greatly disappointed by the large number of students who are about to get debarred for poor overall attendance. While I may be one of the 'better' students, deep down I am having mixed feelings. Why do I still continue to do my assignments in an environment where most people don't even bother to make an effort to buck up on their studies, let alone help themselves? I simply shake my head at the sight of some people coming to school super-late and playing on their PSPs instead of doing their homework!!! They are simply wasting their time lor...!! This is exactly why I am going to buy a PSP only when my birthday comes... and when I find a good reason to buy one.
To the Red Alert-listed people, I don't care what you think about me, but I seriously feel that you have done yourselves and the teachers a great wrong. Nobody can help you if you can't help youselves!!

In exactly one month from now, I am going to watch Maroon 5 perform live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium!! I had actually bought my tickets a few weeks ago, hours before my very last day at work. More info on the popular popband to come in a later post... ;-)

Singapore, host of the first YOG

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Dasmond Koh and Daren Tan

First we had Khoo Swee Cheow being the first Singaporean to conquer Mount Everest in 2000, and break more records in the following years. Then we had Hady Mirza being crowned the very first Asian Idol last year. Less than 2 weeks ago, we had Congrats to Singapore for winning the bid to host the first ever Youth Olympic Games!! :-D

The Games will be held in Singapore, according to a decision by IOC. This decision was announced just last night, after mail voting by 105 IOC members. This event is to be celebrated in the tradition of the Summer Olympic Games from August 14 to August 26, 2010, in Singapore.

When I was having dinner with my mum at a food center last night, I saw the news on TV... I was so delighted, I raised my fist and went, "YESSS!!! I knew it, we won!!!" and started walking around Chris Jericho, wahaha!! :-p

Song in dedication to Daren (birthday boy!!) and his fans (and of course to everyone) is the original version of his first single "Bu Xu Li Yu" from his debut album titled "Regardless" :-)

BUILT TO LAST- Melee
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Built_To_Last_%28M%C3%AAl%C3%A9e%27s_song%29

I've looked for love in stranger places
But never found someone like you.
Someone whose smile makes me feel
I've been holding back,
And now there's nothing I can't do

'Cause this is real, and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
But most of all, most of all it's built to last
(It's built to last) It's built to last

All of our friends saw from the start
So why didn't we believe it too?
Whoa yeah, now look where you are
You're in my heart now
And there's no escaping it for you

'Cause this is real, and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
but most of all, most of all, it's built to last...

Walking on the hills that night with those fireworks and candlelight
You and I were made to get love right

'Cause this is real, and this is good
It warms the inside just like it should
but most of all, most of all, it's built to last

'Cause you are the sun in my universe
Considered the best when we've felt the worst
and most of all, most of all
Most of all, most of all
Most of all, most of all, it's built to last.

A life for a life...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY To Wendy Ho, Ellen Page and Cheryl Chin SH
Last day of the Lunar New Year period today

It's a very sad situation... a repeat scenario of the Virginia Tech killing spree had happened in another part of the US last Thursday... a certain student named Steven Kazmierczak remorselessly killed 6 students in Northern Illinois University with 4 firearms, before blowing his own brains out. Rumors were that he had been heavily influenced by the popular shooting game "Half-Life Counterstrike" (a game I have sworn off playing many years ago), much like Cho Seung Hui before him. Why do such tragedies have to happen? :-(

Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Illinois_University_shooting

And the heartless Ong Chee Leong, who made headlines in Penang by killing his girlfriend's young daughter Shearlyn Ooi Ying Ying and incinerating her corpse last July, had hanged himself in a prison clinic on Monday. His parents, having disowned him the day they found out the horrible truth, simply refused to attend his funeral, and neither is his girlfriend, who regrets having him as a boyfriend in first place. So it's only right that he pay for the life of an innocent child by ending his own life... as far as we know, Mr Ong will not be missed or remembered, neither will he be forgiven.

I dedicate this song to these two losers (who will suffer and burn in hell for all i care)... this will be the first and only time I am gonna dedicate a song to two truly wicked souls. And yes Mr Kazmierczak and Mr Ong, it really is too late to apologize to the families of the innocent lives you have snuffed out. Suicide will not redeem you of your sins at all.

APOLOGIZE- One Republic

I'm holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late...
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late...

I'd take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But it's nothing new
I loved you with a fire red
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel,
Heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late...
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late...

Bridge (guitar/piano)

It's too late to apologize, it's too late...
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late...
It's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah

I'm holdin on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

Gala Premiere of "The Leap Years"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Calvin Lim Wee Hong, Rihanna and Farizan
Start of the Pisces Star

Yesterday I decided to go to Vivo City at the 11th hour... mostly because there was a gala premiere of an upcoming local film titled "The Leap Years" (and also partly because I didn't wanna slack at home in the evening). The film was made 2 years ago, and the release date was pushed to this year, since 29th February aka Leap Day happens every 4 years. Based on a novella titled "Leap Of Love" by well-acclaimed writer, Dr Catherine Lim, the story talks about a young Singaporean girl named Li-Ann having chance upon her special someone (a guy named Jeremy) on 29th February. Li-Ann decides to base her intuition on an Irish leap year tradition that no man will refuse any request of a lady and invites him out for a date. Together, they embark on a romantic journey that spans over 12 years, meeting three times, on the leap year.

After school ended at 5 pm yesterday, I headed back home, changed to outdoor clothes, then took train to Harborfront terminal and had my dinner at Superdog. It would be better if there were more outlets for Superdog, not just at Vivo. After which, I went up to the GV theaters, where I met Rachel (still feel like pinching her!!), Liting and Esther (plus a few more gals whom Im not too familiar with). I later saw Kaileng, Kailin, Joyce and Xueting there too. Being the quiet and 'mysterious' kind as always, I spent most of the time loitering aimlessly around the upper levels of GV Vivo City. Until... the event started at 8 pm finally... the reception area was starting to pack with many guests around that time.

Not much artistes were invited... I did see Irene Ang and a certain model named Rebecca Tan (with husband... sorry guys, but the Eurasian model got married recently). I also saw Andie Chen Bangjun and Jerry Wu Weilie from Star Search 2007, they spent most of the time chatting with 'F4' (the 4 gals). I also noticed Tracy Tan (skinny yet chioh babe) and Jason Chan (Cameron the Green Samurai Ranger!!) among the crowds... they both used to appear in "My Sassy Neighbour". Til now I find it hard to believe that Jason (who used to host "Stress Out" a few yrs ago) is already in his mid 30s... he still looked like early 20s!! (arghhh picture too blur)

Then at 2035 hrs, the emcee got on stage and kicked off the event... bringing up first Mr Lucas Chow (CEO of Mediacorp), some other VIP (I think he's the head of Raintree Pictures? Sorry forgot his name), Dr Catherine Lim (author of "Leap of Love" novel) and Jean Yeo (director of "The Leap Years" film).

Then afterwards came the cast of "The Leap Years"... Wong Li-Lin (with husband Allan Wu), Ananda Everingham, Qi Yuwu, Vernetta Lopez, Nadya Hutagalung (who is pregnant AGAIN!!!) and Paula Mala Ali (hot chick presenter from Star Sports).

Afterwards, the cast members signed their names on the poster, before gathering with the crew for a group photo.

If I have to be honest abt one thing, I kinda dislike Nadya for some unknown reason (for quite a long time actually)... maybe it's the fact that she can be rather sui bian when it comes to choosing men? I mean she's been married three times (and she is expecting her third child)!! Her oldest son should be 14 now if I remember correctly, since she became a mother at 20 and is now 34 yrs of age (but to me, she sort of looks older than her actual age). Somehow I wonder if she wants to compete with close friend Wendi Jacobs (who is a mother of 4 kids)? HAHAHA just kidding, no offence! And as for Paula, I guess some of you know that she is a divorcee? And ermmm... don't ever ask Vern who she was once married to. :-X She is gonna get married to her new boyfriend of 6 yrs in a few mths time

The event ended too quickly at only 10 minutes, with the cast members heading into the theater by a separate path, and all the guests (Jason, Tracy, Irene and so on) heading for the theater. With nothing else to wait for, I headed off for a quick stroll around good ol' Toys R Us, before taking a train back to Kovan. I think I'm gonna go for the special screening of "The Leap Years" at the same place next Monday evening! :-)

Goodbye, Lydia

This is really sad... first we lost Jimmy Nah aka MC King early last month... then Hollywood actor Heath Ledger passed on a few weeks later. Then on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, Ah Meng left this world. And at 11 am today, barely a month after the tragic passing of MC King, I received an SMS from Mum... "FYI, Feifei Lydia passed on earlier today".

Veteran Hong Kong comedian and actress Lydia Sum, best recognised for her curled-up hairstyle, big glasses, plump physique and cheerful personality, had passed on at 8.40 am today, at the age of 60. Cause of death was due to liver cancer resulted from a prolonged bout of complications related to a cholecystectomy done in 2002. She leaves behind a young daughter Joyce Cheng, as well as her ex-husband, popular HK actor Adam Cheng.

She once came here to act as the main lead for her very first English-speaking show, the Singaporean sitcom titled "Living With Lydia" (which ran for 4 seasons). Her role as Lydia Lum (an obvious loose adaptation of her real persona) in that sitcom earned her "Best Comedy Performance by an Actress" award at the 2003 Asian Television Awards. Somehow her death reminds me too much of Anita Mui, who died 5 years ago after a long battle with cancer.

Goodbye, Lydia. You have brought much joy and happiness into our lives. I will miss your smiling face and trademark laughter. My prayers go out to your loved ones. You will always remain in our hearts. :-(

Good Lord Almighty... shocking cover gal!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tengku Adil and Itha

First and foremost, I wanna congratulate Mr Collin Yeow and Mr Adrian Yap for winning the Amazing Race Asia 2!!! You certainly did our country proud...!! :-)

My digicam got some 'injuries' recently... I can't elaborate on how that happened. Somehow the communication between the USB port from the digicam to the computer could not be established. But not to worry, I found another way to transfer the pictures, and that is by the multi-function flash drive unit that I hadn't used for some time. Great success!! :-)

I won't be posting much for the next few days starting from this Friday due to the PNP project that I need to complete. But in the meantime... I wanna show you something that caused me to go weak all over... SHENG JING PO!!!

Something that made me blush non-stop... MISS GORGEOUS!!! (pouts lips)

And something that nearly made me wanna transform into VENOM!!! I have only 3 words to describe the Queen of Caldecott Hill... VERY HAWT MAMA!!! OH BEHAVE BABY

If you wanna risk getting nosebleed or cardiac arrest, I suggest you grab your copy of 8 days asap, cos that's all the pics I'm gonna show you.
And Edison Chen, you oughta be ashamed of yourself for the huge mess you've gotten yourself into!! Not just you, but the 'co-stars' in your videos, and the one who 'helped' distribute the pictures all around the WWW!! As far as I know, your bright future is already starting to go into ruins... I feel bad for you and the gals (esp the one who exposed her 'bush' for everyone to see) >:-(

Seeing my Dad off...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Paris Hilton and Kelvin Lim ZX

The lunch outing after church service yesterday was not enjoyable at all. To think I had wasted 2 hours waiting for my parents to finish with the Breakfast counter... then I followed them and a few more church friends to some HK Street restaurant. Food was ok, but did little to ease my boredom. So I went out and took bus home, feeling a little grumpy and pissed, and thats all I gotta say. Didnt help either that my digicam had suffered some 'injuries' earlier on (more on that later). :-/ Internet time from 2 to 3.45 pm, before the three of us (me, Dad and Mum) headed downstairs to be given a lift to Changi Airport by Uncle Roland. Seems like there were lotsa people going to Darwin... judging by the long queue at the Budget Terminal :-O

We had a drink by the cafe located within the Budget Terminal, and then by 5.15 pm, Dad went into the departure hall. He would be going back to Thailand to continue his missionary work. After Dad checked inside, Mum and I took the free shuttle bus to Terminal 2... she headed to T1, while I took a separate Skytram to T3 (my first time going there).

T3 doesnt seem much different from T1 or T2, that's all I can say. The environment looks almost the same, maybe bigger by a bit.

After 30 minutes of recce around, I took a Skytram to T1, had my dinner there, and then took a bus back home. One I was back home, I watched a rather lame but funny film titled "Around The World In 80 Days", which had very little reference to the original story by Jules Verne!!! I mean, since when did the 'Frenchman' Passepartout become a Chinese martial artist known as Lau Xing??? And played by Jackie Chan some more... AWWW COME ON!!!
