Yesterday my mission at Suntec failed in some fashion, I never knew that the filming would finish at around 6 pm... to make things worse, I was close to transforming into VENOM the moment I stood in front of the toy collectible store besides Rock Auditorium... not bcos of the Venom figures I saw, but by this...


ULTIMATE VENOM LAU NUAAAAA!!!!! Consequently, I had this splitting headache as the symbiote threatened to dominate my mind and soul... I have to cleanse myself of impure thoughts somehow. :-/


Tay Ping Hui, Fiona, Yuwu, Nat, Rebecca, Andrea and Joanne are also featured inside.


On i-weekly is Fiona and Ekin, talking about their roles in "Rule #1".


Jeanette is also featured. Here she is required to do taekwondo for the upcoming drama "Bian Zhou Qu".

I'm off for filming at Cathay Cineplex... can't wait to see Sheng Jing Po again... :-)

I don't think MKP might show up... given the fact that he's kicked out from the Felicia fc for his constant trouble-making and obsessive behavior. Then again, we can never be too sure about that...

New Ch 5 drama En Bloc

This new drama takes a deeper look at the issue, zooming in on the Lim family and the consequences of having their estate up for an en bloc sale.

Through that one cataclysmic event, each of the show's eight one-hour episodes explores the dynamics of family relationships, the unfolding of family secrets and how the characters and their relationships are affected and influenced by the sudden onslaught of wealth. There are the reluctant parents (Patrick Teoh and June Lim), who dread the thought of leaving the home they've lived in for decades. There is the eldest son with the troubled past (Darren Lim), the opportunistic younger brother (Nick Shen), the hot-headed young lawyer (Andrea Fonseka), the aimless youngest child (Nat Ho), and the uneasy daughter-in-law (Rebecca Lim). How will this family keep itself together in the midst of their disagreements?

The punctuality rate today was still as disappointing as always... still got the usual 'Latecomer League' (esp the one who came in gray skinny jeans... good looks, bad attitude). And yes I was very close to killing my group member who reached school damn late (and his name is among the 'Red Alert zoners'). But of course i shall not dwell too much on that... no use whining on others' affairs right? I am really sad over the fact that some students come to school for the sake of coming to school, not for studying and getting a cert. If I were Mr Kelvin, I would haf a really big headache trying to ask everyone to come to school on time.

Ok ok, enough on that. After school finished at 5 pm, I took a train to Novena and went to TTSH to visit Mum (a colleague of hers, who looked rather sweet, was present then; turns out she is also a Mediacorp addict like me, hehe!)... she said the results for the blood transfusion thingy will only be out by Tuesday (that's today to u readers). High chance of her getting discharged earlier, yippee!! If I were to be resting in TTSH for 3 straight nights, I sure would get bored to death...

At 1830 hrs, I left the hospital and took a train to City Hall... cos there was this opening ceremony for a certain Galleria Dome at Suntec City, and Joanne Peh would be there. Before that, I went for a quick dinner at the basement, then headed up to watch the fashion parade. Saw fans like Meiling, Audrey, Hoetian, Adria (cutie pie!!)... and that SICK FREAK whom i shall talk abt in a future post. Anyway, here are some pictures taken during the catwalk session.

By 1950 hrs, we all lost focus on the models, and headed to talk to Joanne and Elvin. Now Elvin's appearance there was something many of us didnt know about beforehand. To my surprise, i saw Andrea Fonseka (MEI NU!!!) as well, and waved to her!! I managed to get Elvin's and Jopeh's autographs to give to a certain Miss J (whom I hadnt been in touch wif for a long time). Edmund Chen was there too, but he disappeared at some point of time; if Esther were present, I'm pretty sure she would go hysterical and shout, "EDMUND!!!!". Funny how come I didnt feel so shy when chatting wif Jopeh, yet when it came to Andrea, that 'Shy Geek syndrome' (yes Cherry, it's the one where I start blushing, get weak in the knees and so on) started acting up...

Still, I thought it was really sweet of Andrea to remember me as the shy dude with the unique name that starts with the letter 'T'... as seen in the last picture.

So after the super-tall Andrea left, I left the place at 2030 hrs exactly... halfway walking out of Suntec, I nearly wanted to go down on my knees and praise the Lord a la Shawn Michaels style (see picture below), but realised that if I were to do so, people would think I'm crazy, so I decided against it. Not to forget, ther were no pyrotechnics to support this appraisal (haha I'm just being lame!). FYI, this post is completed at 0130 hrs mostly due to my inability to sleep (having talked to Andrea again after some time)... am i turning into some night owl or something? :-/

Oh, and the episode of Hey Gorgeous is quite disturbing... do the producers not know about the Muttons' controversy wif the Girl-Next-Door finalists earlier this year? Having the contestants go around Siloso Beach to ask the female passers-by to whip off their bikini tops for a game is soooo distateful and politically incorrect. I'd rather see Fiona whip off her own bikini top than strangers being forced into 'near-outrage of modesty'.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PRIMERO AND IDELAN

Another boring day in school as usual yesterday... Portfolio and Project, Mr Mansor's lesson and Advanced 3D, from 0930 hrs to 1800 hrs. After dismissal at 1740 hrs, I took a cab to AMK Hub, and boy the taxi fare was damn ex, thanks not to ERP!! Anyway, I went to haf a quick dinner at Subway at the Hub, then I took a bus to good ol' Mediacorp...

to watch "Live The Dream" finals of course!! :-)

Once there, I spotted Shauna's lovely twin sisters, and a few friends (from the Singapore Idol roadshows) whom I had not seen for some time. I shant comment on the performances, for they are being reviewed in the main website. I thought the male guest judge (some composer for 881) was really hilarious with his Singlish comments on Dr Doom's super-cheena performance. And the 2nd guest judge, local songbird Corrine May, looked really cute! All the young gals screamed the moment Click Five came out... Taufik entertained the crowd wif his rapping and his slick dance moves, and the Papaya Sisters looked real cute + hot in silver dresses. :-)

Results time at 2245 hrs... the moment of truth!! Thank goodness Dr Doom v2 did not win!! I was raising my fists wif joy like Triple H after Fendi was announced the winner... and yes, By Definition truly deserved the win... overall, it was a good (but not so perfect) end to the show that had been riddled wif controversy... BUT I want to make one very clear request : MEDIACORP BETTER NOT BRING "LIVE THE DREAM" BACK FOR A SECOND SEASON!!!

Anyway after the show, I got out and made more cool moments wif the LTD poster, as well as wif the banner made by the fans of By Definition. 3 Star Search finalists came out at around 2325 hrs... they were Celia Pan, Andie Chen and Desmond Tan. They are among the Final 6, and the finals are just around the corner. I thought Celia looked quite hot. At ard 2345 hrs, I decided to head back home along wif Terence... but little would I know that abt half an hour after we had left, THE FINALISTS FOR "LIVE THE DREAM" ALL CAME OUT!!! DAMN!!!! XUETE!!! NOOOOOO....!!! There goes my chance to take pic wif Fendi, Shauna, Olynn and many others... if only I had the ability to foretell the future :-(

New Face 2007 finals

My shift ended before 6 pm, so I was given more time to prepare for the event... I went around good ol' Ngee Ann City and bought an all-new Venom toy. Then I headed to the basement of Takashimaya to wait for the event to commence. Joakim and Paul were invited guests for the event; in fact they seem to be the only Idols to attend more than one New Face event. I nearly forgot that Andrea Fonseka was the host for this annual event. Backup dancers for the night were Styles From Beyond, Fantastic Four and an all-Chinese dance group not from The Dance Floor.

After the show, the first thing I did was approach Paul and Joakim of course... then I took pic wif them. Soon after, I headed to look for Andrea, but the search was difficult. Still, I got to chat wif the guys from Styles From Beyond before they headed upstairs... and then take a picture of the SFBians (Phiz, Hanif, Zaihar and Amsyar). I may haf failed in my mission to meet up wif Andrea once more, but I know that day will come soon... for now, I got other things to worry about :-/
