Wild n Wacky day at Car Boot Flea Market (brief details)

Surprisingly enough, I am still quite 'alert' in the mind in spite of the aching muscles in my legs and having been scorched by the unbearable heat of the sun at Big Splash just now... hadn't perspired this much since the Breathe campaign launch at the Padang last month. Anyway, here's a brief summary on what happened earlier today...

0800- 0845 hrs: woke up and got changed


0900- 1030 hrs: Sunday service plus Holy Communion, Something to do with Isaiah's prophecy of the Lord's coming


1100- 1145 hrs: Lunch at Heartland Mall plus a bit of shopping


1150- 1315 hrs: After parting ways with Mum n Bro, I took bus to Paya Lebar, then took bus to Amber Road region. Took me abt 20 minutes to safely reach Big Splash.


1400-1445 hrs: Nat and Fiona grace the stage. More cheers for Nat, and very few for Fiona. Photo-taking with fans, followed by autographing


1500- 1540 hrs: Elvin and Jess Tan arrived. Took pics with fans, then go for autograph session as well. Jess stayed behind a little longer. Yep, I did take pic with both shuai ge and mei nu :-)


1700-1800 hrs: got some dancing competition by various groups. There was one group of 4 girls that nearly made me wanna puke, cos their tummies were in serious need of trimming!!


1805-1830 hrs: Felicia and Yaodong arrived. Fel looked damn smoking hot in oversized shirt with black bikini inside... upon seeing her, my pants suddenly went very tight for a while, and I could have melted in seconds if I were an icecube (no offence, Ice). Took pic with Haitong and Machi, (and it was not without 'difficulty', given my weakness towards pretty gals like Fel) and before we all knew it, both of them were escorted back to the van in less than a minute and zoomed back to RG. DOHHHH!!!


1850- 1920 hrs: some of us Felicians took separate taxis to Radiogate, to catch up with Fel (as well as buy her time), get autographs from her on various stuff and take some silly shots of her/with her. I wisely chose not to take pic with her, due to fears that I might start to go weak-kneed or melt once more, or start to develop breathing problems like Darth Vader. What's more, I already took pic with her so many times, and contented enough. I teased baby-faced Hui Si a bit before we left RG for the bus stop opposite Lornie Road.


1940-2030 hrs: I saw some amazing Looney Tunes Xmas Tree tower at AMK Hub, blowing out bubbles and snowflakes. Then after a quick dinner, I took bus back home lor.


2345 hrs: by the time any of you read this, I would have already gone to bed... will upload pictures tomorrow, promise (crosses fingers)


But I wouldn't mind showing you the 'more important' pics... :-)

Car Boot Flea Market this coming Sunday! OLE

Happy Birthday to Jeff Bridges, Maurice and Melissa

There's a Car Boot Flea Market coming this Sunday, and I can hardly wait!! This time round, it's gonna be held at the Playground, Big Splash located along East Coast Park.

Artistes involved:
2 pm- Nat Ho and Fiona Xie
3 pm- Elvin Ng and Jessica Tan
6 pm- Zhang Yao Dong and Felicia Chin

Looks like I've gotta fork out a bit of cash and see what I wanna buy... I can only say that I would be at least 20 dollars 'poorer' (but for a good cause that is). I am going to take pictures with Mr EN and Miss JT as well as Mr YD and Miss FC!! And the best part of all is... unlike last year's CBFM where I had to leave St James Power Station halfway to report to work at that dreadful place, I'm gonna stay for the whole thing this time round, because I don't have to work on weekends!!! Muahahaha :-D

On a side note, I had a very strange dream a few nights ago... that I bumped into Fel at a florist shop, and she later called me via cellphone??? :-O I was like, how on earth did she get hold of my h/p number??? And with that, I 'wrestled' my way out of this dream (yes, I really do that sometimes!!). Thank goodness it wasn't real. Now I understand how Fel felt when she got prank call from some immature soul claiming to be an old friend...

A few more days, and I can hardly wait! And as high as I may be, I am not going to 'turn insane' (or even come any close to that extent), like a certain abomination. No point going obsessed over such material stuff, right? So long as you do what is right for yourself and don't get in the bad books of others.

These are the best pictures I took on the second day of the Bi8 iDEA extravaganza at Ngee Ann City on the 25th of May 2008. This took me longer to finish this entry btw...

The hosts for the day... the very tall Shan Wee, a Gayle Nerva lookalike (forgot her name) and the rather scrawny Jean Danker

1) Cast of "We Are R.E.M." season 4 (new generation). Hard to believe that Ming Bridges is the youngest of the 3 babes, at only 15 years old. Jerilyn Koh looks quite voluptous, Jamie-Lee the lanky one was a suitcase girl in both seasons of DOND (Deal Or No Deal) .

2) Contestants for upcoming episode of "The Showdown". Tricia really looks like xiao meimei... compared to the Hey Gorgeous male champion Lloyd, as well as the 4 leggy babes Rebecca, Joey, Jessica and Jade.

3) Cast of Parental Guidance and The Yang Sisters. Got 2 even younger Mei meis... the new boy replacing Kyle's role not cute at all.

4) Elvin being gamemaster for "Twister" and "Stack-o-Challenge"

I took picture with 2 cutie pies after that. The hot babe under umbrella is named Winnie, and the sweet pea is named Shirley if I remember correctly :-)
