HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Anthony Ong, Desmond and Goh Zhewen
It was my first time going to Zouk, and already I made my first blunder... I missed the stop in front of Copthorne Plaza (which is located in front of Zouk!!). And I had to walk a rather long distance... next time I must be more careful.
So I met up with Louisa, and went inside Zouk... yes, this is indeed my virgin visit into the nightclub. Looks kinda crammed, but at least the lights were brightly lit and the place was not as nightmarish as I thought it to be.
The hosts were Fly Entertainment artistes Irene Ang and Chua Enlai... man these two really know how to crack up the crowd. Gals were screaming as 38 out of 50 hunks were formally introduced. Four of the hunks were talent contest finalists... Star Search 2007 champion Andie Chen, Star Search 2007 finalist Desmond Tan, Singapore Idol 2 finalist Joakim Gomez and Live The Dream group winner Ash (lead vocalist of By Definition). The other 34 hunks who were present for the carnival were...
Benjamin Tan, Jon Cheong, Laurence Ong, Andrew Chew, Jareth, Kai Reuber, Ryan Marc Pereira, Julius Sim, Bryan D'Silva, Bryan Gamboa, Daniel Wuu, David Teng, Eddie Herbert, Ian Sim, Joel Thong, Kelvin Ong, Freddie Lin, Prem Goh, Adam Toh, Alex Toh (not the HK singer!!), Alan Soh, Charles Chua, David Wang, He Fulin, Jason Chew, Jonathan Lim, Khairudeen, Nicholas Bloodworth, Ratna Suffian, Md Yuzzaimi and two more guys whose names I can't remember.
What I do know is that Daniel Jacobs, Daren Tan and Paerin Choa are among the 12 absentees.
The activities on stage were simply crazee... for Batch no 1, 3 gals (one of them who looked damn HOT in microshorts and an oversized shirt) had to dump ice and Brand's berry essence bottles into 3 guys' shirts and made them look 'pregnant'!! Thank Andie and Joakim never kena...
For Batch no 2, a young lady named Angela (I think) was invited on stage to say some witty quotes as 3 hunks took off their shirts and danced around her... after which she had to lick off lemon marks on their forearms! Talk about a crazy sexy time...
For Batch no 3, 3 gals had to sing a love song with 3 hunks, and the song had to contain the word 'time'. Team no 3 won with creativity and dramatic poses. 4 more gals were invited on stage to play some game where Girl A had to throw some balls past 4 men doing pushups, and Girl B has to catch the balls that made it safely to the other end and drop them in the basket.
After a lucky draw for 6 lucky gals who won grand prizes, Louisa and I went to play a few games... managed to win an invitation card for the Cleo Bachelors' Finals Party this coming Friday. After that, I managed to get autographs on the Cleo magazine from Andie, Desmond and Joakim... then me and Louisa headed for the Dunk-A-Hunk segment located near the entrance.
First person to get dunked into the water tank was Cleo editor Deborah Tan. After which came Eddie Herbert, Freddie Lin, Desmond Tan and Kelvin Ong. Louisa and I then left the place at abt 1830 hrs, and took respective buses home. Well actually, I went for dinner first, then headed back home.
Man I can't wait to go for the Cleo Bachelors' Final Party later this week!! Stay tuned for pictures in next post ;-)

Chesty Nutty Bang Bang... crude and hilarious!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Dave Finlay and Justin Timberlake
Last nite, me and Feimao went to watch "Chesty Nutty Bang Bang"... but before we reached National Library, we saw a Mediacorp bus and van outside Hotel Intercontinental. Must be some press conference going on there... could it be for the upcoming drama titled "Beautiful Scent", starring Pan Lingling, Zheng Geping and Dawn Yeoh? Definitely not some filming scene, since that will require a lot of money in such a huge and luxorious hotel such as Hotel Intercontinental (wonder if it houses the records of former Intercontinental Champions in the WWE? Haha, just kidding!!). Whatever it is, we'll never know, cos we had to rush to National Library, and the buses would have already left by the time we got up to the 3rd level of the library.

Pictures of the super-tall and magnificent National Library!! Once we got in, we were told that all those who booked tickets for the 3rd level will have upgraded seats at the 2nd level (mostly bcos there were plenty of empty seats)... meaning we will have a better view of the play!! :-D

Non-stop laughter all the way!! There wera many freaking hilarious bits like Joakim emulating Hady Mirza after his Asian Idol win, the NOOKIA ringtone orchestra, the recurring Ribena commercials throughout the show, the Pondan Getaway show (arghhh, Joakim dressed as a Thai lady-boy!!), an Autobot taking the form ... too many to mention!! I couldnt stop laughing the moment I found out who played Lily Chan in "High School Beauty World"... Jonathan Lim!! :-O And even though I didnt really get much of "Hairspray Potter", I still enjoyed it nevertheless. Now my only complaint is on the 251 educational skit, as well as most part of the "88251"... too much reference on Annabelle Chong's record on f'ing 251 men within 10 hours, and wif Yeo Yann Yann playing the infamous Annabelle?? I think a lot of Yuwu fans are really gonna hate Rodney Olivero for poking fun at Yuwu's mute boy role in the film, esp wif those crude cock jokes. The Hokkien translation for Rihanna's hit single "Umbrella" was super hilarious, I tell you!! There was even an interactive session towards the end of the show, where the cast asks us to sing along to get the show going!! After the play ended, we all clapped real loudly and cheered like mad!! Certainly no regrets watching it whatsoever!! :-D

Right after the show, we proceeded to get the booklets... something titled "The Chestnuts Guide to Phacebook" (an obvious spoof of Facebook, like duh). Me and Cherry were going down the escalators when we heard screams of joy and excitement at the Drama Theater... we quickly went up and saw 3 cast members of the play!!

First artiste I approached for autograph was the beautiful Yeo Yann Yann, better known as Da Mu Gua (Big Papaya) from the Royston Tan film 881. I kinda like her... she's the third 881 cast member I took picture wif, after Liu Ling Ling and Qi Yuwu. :-)

Next cast member is someone I know of course... Joakim!! :-p

Then I proceeded to take pic wif Jonathan Lim, the brains behind the Chestnuts plays for the past 10 years... very talented actor/director/playwright!! :-) Couldnt see Judy or Rodney or Celine Rosa Tan anywhere outside the theater, but that doesnt matter. At least I got to chat up wif Joakim once more. Soon after that, me and Cherry went out to the bus stop opposite Bugis Junction...

Getting ready to watch a funny play...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Christian Bale, Bryan Wong and JC Ramoluete
I don't wish to talk about what happened in school... as always, I'm greatly disappointed by how some people can be so dishonest and come up with lies on 'they really did certain school assignments', when the actual truth is, they go AWOL most of the time!! Class DMD 1V may have gone for class photo taking yesterday, but is there any true team spirit within the class? The answer is NO, and I don't need to give an explanation for my answer. Even I myself feel way too du lan to tell them what to do. I shan't say anymore.

Tonight I'm gonna watch a play at National Library... it's titled "Chesty Nutty Bang Bang: Harispray of the Phoenix". It's the 11th instalment of the Chestnuts series that has taken Singapore theater by storm!! It stars the 3 main Chestnuts: Jonathan Lim (director and creator of the Chestnuts series), Rodney Olivero and Judy Ngo... guest stars for this play are Joakim Gomez and Celine Rosa Tan and Yeo Yann Yann. The show contains lots of stuff...

Hmmm, I decided to dedicate this song to Rui En, Felicia, Fiona and those who like Westlife. Ah heck, anyone in general! I just can't get enough of song dedication!! :-p
"CATCH MY BREATH" by Westlife
We were still in high school when I first met you
Even then you were the prettiest girl that I ever knew
And we carved our name on everything that we could find
The way that all kids do
And although time has passed I still get surprised
At the pulling in my chest when I know you're coming by
If this feeling's proving anything, it's not everything
Is gonna change with time, you're still mine
Chorus
Did you know when you're around
My heart won't, it can't slow down
It beats so hard, it makes it hard
To catch my breath, to catch my breath
Don't ever ask me if I'm sorry or that I'm here with you
Baby you can bet I don't regret the girls I never knew
Every day's another first, another change for me
To fall in love with you, and I do
Did you know when you're around
My heart won't, it can't slow down
It beats so hard, it makes it hard
To catch my breath, to catch my breath
Oh.. when you're with me I stop seeing
Any way to fail, how do I explain
I try to tell you what I'm feeling
But how do I, when all words pale
(Repeat twice)
Did you know when you're around
My heart won't, it can't slow down
It beats so hard, it makes it hard
To catch my breath, to catch my breath
To catch my breath, to catch my breath
To catch my breath, to catch my breath
