Kinship roadshow at Bugis!! Yeah baby

Boy was I glad that I had applied for leave for yesterday... if I were to report to work straight after the 'bonding' session at Radiogate, I might have fainted from the unbearable weather (not from the strong BO of a certain JPBB). And yep, I did accomplish all 3 major goals very smoothly, just like I did for the CNY roadshow on Feb and after the filming at CHIJMES just weeks ago. The most significant similarity between the 3 events was that each of them involves at least one of seven princesses :-)

Morning service (message preached by a guest speaker from Australia named Steve Ahern) was really very brief, lasting from 9 am to 1015 hrs (mostly due to the Ohana Bible camp). So I went back home to upload pictures I took of Rui En, Fiona and Felicia. At 12 pm, I left the house and took a bus to Bugis Junction... going around the toy department and having my lunch at Pastamania (oh ya I forgot to mention that I chose not to wear the 'symbiote suit', given the unbearable weather). Then I went down to the ground level to join the Elvinology fans (Audrey, Meiling, Joyce-stella, Rina and Lee Teng). I was one of 10 unlucky fans who kena pasted wif i-weekly sticker and made to go up on stage to play some kind of quiz related to the i-weekly issue. Me and my partner didnt win, but that's ok... for all the teams get to walk away with some goodies... me and my partner split the items, and I got the Scary Movie 4 VCD (but it wasnt a good film to begin with). At around 1430 hrs, there was another game being played... this time it was a test of willpower. 8 people haf to hold a copy of the 500th i-weekly issue and balance on one leg as long as possible (to 500 seconds). Terence and his tall friend (sorry, forgot his name), along with an auntie, were the last few people standing, all the way til the 6.5 minute mark!

Just as the activity session was about to end, the 'celeb express' arrived at the nick of time, and out came the stars! There were of course very loud screams for Elvin... other stars are Jesseca, Eelyn, Darren Lim, Cynthia Koh, Alan Tern, Ann Kok, Chen Tianwen, Lin Meijiao, Xiang Yun and Yao Wenlong. There was quite a lot of talking involved, so there was indeed plenty of time for me to take lots of pics of the celebs.

As the show came to a close, I quickly made my way to the taxo stand. I was initially quite prepared to take a taxi alone, given the fact that my Malay friend no-showed for this long-awaited event in spite of my constant reminders to her mobile phone (and boy was I pissed off when she SMSed me only by 11 pm??? What the hell!!). Luck was definitely on my side when the two girls behind me happened to be big fans of Elvin, so i asked them if they would like to share the same cab with me, and they agreed! Indeed the taxi arrived just at the nick of time... the moment me and the 2 gals (named Karlyn and Pamela) got off the cab, the 'Celeb Express' just arrived!! First came out Xiang Yun, prob driving back home. Then came Cynthia's red car and then a huge mob of 'vultures' started to surround Cyn's car. And them Elvin drove out with the two mei nus (Eelyn and Jesseca) as well as a third person (prob a crew member for Shou Zu?)... certainly I dont need to elaborate anymore, do I? The photos tell it all, and I managed to get the three young stars to sign on different documents. I got to talk to the very nice and friendly Eelyn for a good 3 minutes regarding her bimbotic role in Lifeline season 2 and how I got to know some of the other fans thru Friendster or MSN or the Mediacorp Forums, among other things. By end of the day, the main objectives have indeed been accomplished!! OH BEHAVE BABY :-)

Three beauties at Bugis Junction

Yesterday was a real blast... three babes at Bugis Junction for autograph session. I swung from my home to Dhoby Ghaut, then was forced to take a bus after my 'organic web-shooters' wore a little thin. At around 1230 hrs, I met up with Superman, Kenny, Pei Fang, Daphne and Steph (who fell victim to my deadly 'Taser jolt' at the most unexpected time, muahaha!). Kenny and Superman had a fish burger eating competition at Mc's (thank goodness then that I had already taken my lunch much earlier)... Joanna aka 'Borat' (why the nickname? Jo so pretty) joined us a few minutes later, and I started blushing when she sat next to me. Later we went to basement to look around... and then we went to Yoshimoya to watch Steph and Jo compete in a rice-eating contest (blush-worthy moment again). Then we headed to the outside to wait for the celebs to arrive... shy little Rachel joined us at that time.



At 1415 hrs, the three babes finally arrived! The talking session went rather fast, and I took a lot of pictures at around this time. As Rui En, Fiona and Felicia headed to their seats, I went on to join the (very long) queue. I was surprised to see Po Cheng and Yu Shan along the way, and equally surprised to see William as part of the queue (an even bigger surprise would await me much later). Ryan was actually abt 10 people behind me, but I didnt know abt this til after the autograph session had ended.



I dunno how to explain this but when I got on stage, Rui En kinda freaked me out not with her new wavy hairdo, but with her eyeliner (sorry to say this, she does look quite EMO). Fiona was her usual chirpy self, and she was dressed like a gypsy. And Fel, sweet as ever, just melted my heart when she said, "Hello Tanat, thanks for coming!" and with that, my knees started to get a little weak, and I 'nearly fell off the stage'!! HAHAHA... nah, just kidding. I then rejoined the RE fan gang (with the power of the symbiote growing stronger than ever) after I left the stage, and was rather surprised to know that Borat couldnt feel any one of my THREE Taser jolts! Fel and Fiona left first, then Rui En left in a separate van (I was actually relieved not to take pic wif her, cos she looked way too scary). Me and Eric (who had arrived rather late) then went to Orchard together after I parted ways with Steph and gang. Start work at 5 pm!

Fast forward to 2130 hrs. I was in for the SHOCK OF THE MOMENT when Fiona showed up at my workplace with a friend to buy some takeaways... and she showed she had a very good memory when she said to me in surprise, "Oh hi! Nice to see you again, I didn't know you worked here!" My eyes popped out, my mouth dropped and then I started blushing like Fiona from the Marigold Peel Fresh commercial... I then lost some concentration for the next few minutes. LUCKY it was Fiona who came to my workplace, cos if it were to be Fel... I think I would fall into a deep swoon and end up in hospital, and prob not even be blogging here in first place!

Sleepless night yet again...

I just can't sleep at all... not just bcos of the upcoming Kinship event at Bugis, but partly due to the eccentricies of a certain individual whom I thought might never show up at all... the way he was taking candid pics of me and a few other friends around Bugis was somewhat getting on my nerves (but I do like some of the pics, wink wink). It seemed like he was the one who had 'bonded with a symbiote', not me (tho I did indeed wear the 'symbiote suit', it didnt seem to affect my personality much). Matter of fact, the symbiote might have merged with him for a longer time than I think.
I dont know what the others think, but his behaviour has been disturbing as of late... only God knows if he could be doing this to get attention or delude himself even further. So to the guy who is confirmed to be reading this, I am going to be quite straightforward by not creating any invisible words in this post, just so you can reflect on your disturbing actions/motives... I mean snapping pictures of us is OK, but I would gladly appreciate it if you limit yourself and dont go overboard. Did you know how ashamed I felt when you made a fool of yourself in front of the fruit seller at the basement level? Did you also know that I was very close to 'smashing' your digicam (as much as I hate to do so) the same way Spidey did to Eddie Brock's camera just before his dogfight against Sandman... and do you also know that I am starting to lose some trust in you?
For the time being, I will stop here and spare you any more agony, but I really hope you learn to be more rational next time. Im sure u wont mind me sending the pics u took anyway?
In the meantime, I think I need to clarify why all of you who took my True Friend Test got question no 8 wrong... it was supposed to be a TRICK QUESTION!! Hahahaha... GOTCHA!

Whew!! Finally finished the assignment on Flash animation... man I tell u, it wasn't easy at all. And it certainly aint gonna be any easier for me when I deal with the next project on personal portfolio. Somehow I think that there aren't much Applied Design assignments... which may work at a greater advantage. Got some problems trying to finish the last 3D animation assignment though :-/

The movies I would like to watch this month (but prob not all)... Shrek 3, Men In White, Pirates of The Carribean 3 and Fantastic Four part 2 (MUST!!).. all I need now is time.

Just a few more hours to the autograph session and I can hardly wait!! I can feel the 'power of the symbiote' strengthening me once more. I am going to dedicate this song to the three (very hot!) babes I am going to see at Bugis later today... as well as to my lovely friends, Miss S and Miss J. I will be bringing along the 'symbiote suit' to the event!!

Sickness and shyness

Something strange happened yesterday... u see, I was suffering from terrible stomach cramps early in the morning, and had to use the restroom quite often. I wasnt doing anything much at home, just clearing tons of unwanted documents. Then at 12 pm, I was called up to report to work earlier, which I didnt mind at all. But then after I started work at 1330 hrs, the nasty cramps went on-and-off, and I was feeling super weak during the first 3 hours of work (tho I did manage to keep my flatulence problem under control). Then came a long break (thank goodness!) and then I was told to ST (stock transfer) a lot of burger buns from the Novena Square and Orchard Emerald outlets. So I accomplished the tasks in about an hour, returning to Shaw House and continuing my work...
Then at around 1930 hrs, two very familiar faces came over for a surprise visit... Miss S and Miss J??? :-O I started blushing upon noticing them... we then made plans on the time to report to Bugis Junction come this Sat, before they left mins later. And all of a sudden, the stomach cramps completely wore off!! Could those two beauties be angels in disguise? I cant wait to find out in a few days' time... as a result, I lost a lot of sleep last night due to the charms of the two mei nus (beauties).
One more day before I get to see the trio of babes at Bugis!! Must take lots of pictures and upload them here coem Sunday evening... :-)
