Mei Nu at Toa Payoh! Guess who...?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...
16th September- Lee Kuan Yew, Dad
17th September- Jeremy Kwan, Jon Phipps, Samantha

Fiona is damn HAWT lor... the pictures below are proof of that. This was what happened prior to the event on Saturday (15th September)...
0730- wake up rather early
0830- watch Spider-Man 3 DVD Extras
1015- one last check thru bag for any items missed out
1030- leave house amid heavy rain
1115- reach Toa Payoh, haf lunch there
1145- meet up with Eric
1210- wait at National Libaray for Eric to come out of restroom
1225- reach Esso-Mobil petrol kiosk
1235- Superman 'flies in'
1300- Fiona arrives!

Lucky I didnt 'wear' the symbiote suit that day (but ehhhh, Venom actually 'followed' me all the way to Toa Payoh?!?), otherwise it will disintegrate totally due to the loud drumbeats and cybal clanging from the lion dance routine that kicked off the grand opening of the NTUC FairPrice Xpress outlet at the Esso-Mobil petrol kiosk located along Lorong 2 Toa Payoh. The event was hosted by freelance actress Eileen Wee, best known for her role as Ah Huay in "Army Daze" (not to forget that she wrote a book on how she got to join showbiz, titled "Excuse Me, Are You An Actress?"), but I cant remember the last time she appeared on TV (she does look too much like one of my cousins tho). Indeed I was surprised that Fiona remembered me in first place... prob due to the Bugis Junction roadshow and her later showing up at my workplace 3 mths ago? Either way, I was already very happy to haf made use of the dreadful lion dance to take pic wif the buxom beauty. A bit surprised that Eric brought out four magzines for Fiona to sign.

The event lasted for exactly one hour... Fiona arriving at 1 pm sharp, talking abt the new Margiold Peel Fresh flavour, interacting wif young kids, signing posters and notebooks for 20 minutes and then leaving at 2 pm. And I thought it would end rather late (still, I'm glad I still haf abt one hour to spare before immensing myself to more 'psychological torment'). After that, me, Eric and Superman headed to Toa Payoh MRT station and took a train to Orchard... heading to Borders and looking thru some Star wars books. Work as usual, from 4 to 10.30 pm... my conscience is slowly being eaten away by sheer pressure...
And yes, I did blush non-stop, I got tongue-tied, and i felt quite weak all over (no no, I didnt drool at all)... I can't imagine the outcome if it were Miss FC or even Miss RE.

Finally... the DVD is out!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THEODORE LONG, JAY LIM, LITING AND CORINA

Wahaha.. the Spider-Man 3 DVD is finally out!! I've been waiting for it since the start of this month, going to some CD stores nearly everyday to see if it's out yet... and guess what, I even got a cool poster from the store where I bought the DVD 2 days ago! :-D

List of very cool DVD featurettes:
  • Grains of Sand: Building Sandman
  • Re-Imagining the Goblin
  • Covered In Black: Creating Venom
  • Hanging On... Gwen Stacy and the Collapsing Floor
  • Fighting, Flying and Driving: the Stunts
  • Tangled Web: The Love Triangles of Spider-Man 3
  • Wall of Water (the end part of Symbiote Spider-Man vs Sandman)
  • Inside the Editing Web
  • From Foley to Scoring: The Science of Sound
  • From Rooftops to Backstreets
  • The Chase on Euclid Avenue (Spider-Man vs Sandman part 1)
Now as i embark on my 'mission' to see Miss FX at Toa Payoh later today (yes, I will indeed blush non-stop, grow weak all over and even risk getting nosebleed yet again), wish me all the best in 'unleashing Venom', muahaha!! :-p

Andrea, ni hen mei!!! :-p

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LIN PEIFEN, EUGENE NG, IRIS, LISA AND KELLY

Yes, I had bought the new 8 days issue, got very pretty gal on cover (but I aint gonna buy i-weekly issue, cos the cover boy is someone I personally dislike). Sorry Venom, you are NOT to be allowed 'access' to these pictures at all, cos I remembered how you refused to co-operate with me when I showed you the pics of last week's i-weekly cover gal. It seems that Venom still can never stop drooling (Lan-jie calls it 'lau chui-nua') over hawt babes like Fiona, Felicia or even this mei nu (who, ironically, was anything but attractive in her younger days, esp during her reign as Miss Malaysia 2004). Seeing these pics tempts me to go see her once more... the perfect song I would dedicate to her is Westlife's "When You're Looking Like That" (since Andrea is indeed 5' 10'')

Start of the holidays... and a revelation!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO:
11th Sept- Jiaqi, Rachel Lin and Jennifer
12th Sept- Jiawei and Louis Law

Hooray, the month-long vacation has officially begun!!
First things first, the Applied Design exam wasn't as hard as I thought... in fact, I think I can get a B at the most, given the fact that I could answer most of the 25 MCQ questions correctly (no matter how tricky some of them can be). But i totally screwed up on most of the structured quetsions... must be I was paying too much attention on the last few chapters than the first one.
Also cleared was the Project Management document file. It's really nerce-racking to think up of what to write in the reports. Now that everything had been cleared for now, I can rest easy and plan on working lesser come October.
I found out only recently that one of my colleagues Cherry aka Fei-mao happened to be a fellow Mediacorp forum member whom I've known for quite some time (yes, the shock of it all!!!)... the similiarities between Fei-mao and that forumer (whose username I shant reveal) are just too much of a coincidence. Cherry actually knew who I was all along!! :-O The discovery was kinda similar to Palpatine purposely revealing to Anakin Skywalker his true identity as Darth Sidious in Star Wars Episode III: ROTS.. except that this revelation had a more positive response. Luckily it's not who i think it was (a certain forum member who insulted Rui En regarding her guest performance on Singapore Idol)... but really, how come I can be so chi dun (not just sui bian) over such ironies? Then again, my friend Superman told me that he and another forum member happen to be in the same school too... much to his surprise of course.
To sum it all, it is a very, very small world after all... even on a small island city like Singapore. Dont worry, Cherry... I wont 'put you to sleep', and neither would I tell your 'worst enemy' of the revelation. I thought it would have been much better if u told me the truth earlier mah... but nvm lah

Dedication to that encounter

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHERRY, ZHIZHONG, SHEILA OU AND ZIXIANG

Rest in peace, Luciano Pavarotti... may the good Lord bless your soul

A song I must dedicate to Miss FC and Miss JP. It is one of three songs sung by the cool and suave Jonathan Leong during the Singapore Idol Finals. Miss them greatly I do, long to see them again I really do. Study for upcoming Applied Design exam I must, even if I lack the time to browse thru all the notes...

SHOULD I STAY- DREAMZ FM

Had a drive driven by your love
But when you messed around, I lost the drive I found

Thought you needed, needed someone true
But you changed your mind, or had I failed you?

Wish you’d been careful with my heart
But you tore it apart and broke an angel’s heart

The kiss was true, has to end somehow
But I am livin’ proof of what love is about

It’s hard holding you, loving you, losing you
It’s sad to be true and be fooled by you
I don’t know (I don’t know) I gotta know...
Should I stay or should I go?

You played me on, played me like a clown
But I feel for you, even though I’m down

My heart is heavy, heavy like a rock
But I am so amused, you’re still in my thoughts

It’s hard holding you, loving you, losing you
It’s sad to be true and be fooled by you
I don’t know (I don’t know) I gotta know
Should I stay or should I go?

Oooohh…should I stay? Or should I go?

It’s hard holding you, loving you, losing you
It’s sad to be true and be fooled by you
I don’t know (I don’t know) I wanna know, baby
Should I stay or should I…?

This time its done, it’ll never feel the same
But we had some good times, guess it’s sad just the same

I guess the truth doesn’t matter somehow
But you were livin’ proof of what love is about

Very disappointed wif... a lot of things

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FARIZ, LIJUAN AND TAMERA

I am damn pissed with one of the groups for the final presentation... the group with one of the members always coming to school very very late due to reasons I would rather not say here. Can somehow see that there's not even any team spirit in theat group, all bcos of that one person (who got debarred from exam and missed out a lot of lessons, yet still want to come to school?!? WTH). I find it very surprising that the 'F3' had to rely on that AWOL king to draw out the mascot... why cant one of them do it himself?!?! Talk abt lack of initiative... I bet he didnt know abt his being removed from my Friendster list a long time ago btw.

I am also very pissed with another classmate who used "internet at home spoilt" as the lamest excuse for not doing anything for the assignment. Then what on earth is she doing in the computer labs all along?!?! I know this doesnt concern me one bit either, but that person's lack of commitment AND subsequent absence obviously affected her group members (if she were to be in my group, I would also not hesitate to remove her name off the group), and caused many others to frown. And that very same person got her appeal letter for debarment accepted??? What kind of logic is that???

Oh ya, I totally cant stand it whenever anyone in general makes noise during the overall presentation... so to YOU the one who keeps making a lot of noise, you better thank the maker that Mdm Rashidah or any other teacher wasn't around at all, otherwise you will be in big trouble for doing so. And dont you dare say "my mouth, my problem", cos it will cause a lot of problems later, I'm serious. Don't say i never warned you. This is NOT an insult, it's a piece of advice.

It just sucks to know that many teachers are either gonna be transferred elsewhere or leave the campus due to other reasons... at least the final PJM presentation wasn't as stressful as I thought it to be. Still, I dont even know what's gonna be in store for the next semester...

It's kinda sad that Tris had flown off to the States to further his studies, and that means he won't be back til next year. I wish him the best.

But I do know that my mind is made up abt something... I have prepared a resignation letter for year end already. On a personal note, I am already fucking pissed by the fact that I had to keep covering for people, do this and do that. I know the others had it much worse than me, but I feel like vomitting blood or yelling out in anger most of the time (I realised that Im starting to turn into another 'emo freak'... all I need to do now is grow my hair long like Paul Twohill before me). I'd be lying if I said that I cared 'only for myself', but truth be told, I seem to care too much abt others. Many times I can't help but wonder if I'm working to kill time or get more money (no work, no pay) or cover up for others, or simply drive myself crazy with overwork most of the time. I think I better concentrate fully on my studies when school reopens next month... as well as get another job.

Fiona on i-weekly cover...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JILLIAN HALL, JOYCE AND JAMES TAY

Fiona is featured in the new i-weekly issue... something to do with going thru never-ending challenges and personal battles everyday... upon seeing the really HAWT pics inside, I made it a point not to feature any action figure (the evil ones esp) in due respect o Fiona's professionalism and individuality, cos doing so would make it look really... disturbing and lewd. Not to forget mentioning that the most twisted of villain toys in my ever-growing toy collection has got sharp teeth, long fingernails and a serpentine tongue (good thing then that the figure doesnt drool at all, or that will make the situation much more gross)... leave u to figure out who (Hint: a symbiotic creature wif purple skin and a desire for vengeance on its former owner, who had ruined the lives of both the creature and its current host).

So while i spend the next few days racking my brains on the PJM 'doomsday' project, I'll show u the pics for all of u hot-blooded men to ogle at... just make sure that your noses dont 'fall off', haha!!

Oh ya, did I forget to mention that Fiona's got an event next Saturday??? More details to come in a future post!!! Do mark down the 15th of September ya? ;-p

Dont wanna talk about it...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WES BENTLEY (BLACKHEART), FANNIE AND DIYANA

Due to personal reasons, I haf INITIALLY decided to set this blog to locked mode. But alas, its best I dont do so, as it will cause a lot of inconvenience. And yes, I am truly sorry if I had offended a few people in my previous posts, for I did not mean to criticize you. But do bear in mind that my disdain towards a few people remain intact (no offence really, just the honest truth). I can bear with noisy friends, I can bear with latecomers, BUT I simply cannot bear with a certain person who... never mind, better mention abt him here. Leave you to guess who. :-x

And anyone who wants to induce any gossip abt me ever again, pls SHUT UP AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!

Today couldn't have been any worse... no, Im not referring to what happened in school, but rather, the 'mission failures' linked to a few cast members of the upcoming show "Path of Gold". You see, there was this wedding scene at CHIJMES that started at ard 8 am and was slated to end at 7 pm latest (in case the weather got real bad halfway). Unfortunately, there was no rain in the afternoon at all. And unfortunately for me, after I printed one half of the APD assignment, I had to go back to school at around 1 pm to finish up on the last Applied Design assignment in a rather redundant make-up lesson from 1 pm to 2.30 pm... by the time I reached there, filming had ended... still i got to print out the second (and more tedious) half of the APD documents at Bras Basah.
To make things simpler, I could not get to talk to Nat (who had left soon after the wedding ended at ard 2), nor did I get to talk to Jopeh or Fel (both who need to do additional filming)... and I wasted quite a lot of money for taxi fare. Had I wised up earlier, I should not have waited at RG in first place!! Wasted 2 hrs of time there... a (very) painful lesson to learn, one that caused my knees to ache from all that walking (not swooning lah!!) and got me close to being crippled (CHOY!!! Touch wood), yet one that strengthened my resolve (yes, Im feeling fine right now, thank you very much). It was only a matter of time before i came to realise that yes, waiting for just one artiste (a beautiful one in particular) can get me too 'emotionally attached' and drive me closer to 'the dark side' once more (I'd be lying if I were to deny having those feelings)... like what happened to that heavy-breathing Sith Lord whose name u should know. And oh, I know now who Esther was waiting for at RG earlier on...!! :-p
So I came to my senses, abandoned my plans for good, and set off to Bishan J8 to haf dinner. Then I headed home to cut out the printed documents and lay them out on the mounting boards I had bought from Art-Friend days ago. Hey at least I still stuck to the right priorities (to complete school assignments) in the end, right? :-)

Whoa, first anniversary of Steve Irwin's demise today... how time flies indeed.

Farewell party for Brother + another 'sad day'

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KEANU REEVES, KELVIN ANG AND UTT

Ytd Mother, Tris, Wendy and I went to KK Teck's house for a family gathering... it was something like a bon voyage party for Tris who will be flying off to the US in a few days' time to further studies. Prior to the party, Mother told me to go collect 50 satay sticks plus cucumbers and onions from the marketplace near good ol' Heartland Mall. I was feeling a little tired upon reaching the place (esp after slogging my brains out on the Olympics project in the computer for the past 3 hrs or so), but nevertheless managed to 'reboot' myself by washing my face thoroughly. I think I ate the most number of satay as well as chicken slices (or is it beef?)... then I played 'waiter' by clearing dishes after the dinner. I spent the next hour reading interesting fairy tales and ancient myths, before heading back home wif Mum.

Today ah... sigh so disappointing, so few people came for lesson today yet again (as always). At least I managed to finish up the APD assignment. Not to forget nearly completing the mini-project for Character Design. I realized a little too late that DMD module in ITE is not as easy as u think... esp when it comes to completing the Word documents for PJM. Now all I haf to do is print out the Photoshop files asap and pass them up first thing tomorrow morning... provided it doesnt rain.

No lesson???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JEFF HARDY, FAUZI AND YAKUBU

Time passed so quickly... today is the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death...

Yesterday super bo lang xiah... very few people turned up for APD lesson, and I realised the main reason why... most of them went back to their secondary schools to visit their teachers. Oh ya, Teachers' Day, how could I forget?
Since many other classes had gone MIA, and Miss April wasnt around, the PJM lesson for today was cancelled, and that means all of us could go back early!! So yeah, longer Internet use and finishing up of Character Design essay + scene drawing. Afterwards... I went for 3 crazy ST sessions for the 1st 1.5 hr at work, only to be given early break upon return from the Chevron House-cum-Raffles City ST. One of the managers at PS looked quite chioh... must be mixed blood.
I think I better print out the first half of the APD assignments by today... with the month of September at bay, the 'countdown' begins, as I start to reconsider my options on whether to work less or quit totally by start of October in order to concentrate wholly on the last semester of my studies...

Oh ya before I forget... CONGRATS TO THE 'GIGGLING BIMBO' REGINE FOR WINNING THE GIRL ON GIRL CONTEST!!! :-)
