'Michael Jackson' at Heartland Mall, hee hee!!

Yesterday... 1900- 2300 hrs

Thank goodness I didn't go for the Sichuan charity show on Saturday night (got church function to attend anyway), cos I found out that MKP went for it!! I confirm will bash him up if I were to go!! (evil smirk)

Anyway, right after my short rest from the CWP event, I went for early dinner with Mother, then made my way to Heartland Mall... to watch a Michael Jackson Impersonator performance! The moment Jay the MJ Impersonator (an Indian btw) got up on stage and started dancing at abt 7 pm sharp, a lot of people (including young kids who may not have any idea who MJ is) got attracted to the dance and gathered around the stage region to watch!! He danced to the classics of "Beat It" and "Billie Jean"... could have been better if he danced for a few more minutes, to at least 2 more songs (like "Bad" and "Smooth Criminal"). Thank goodness I didn't volunteer myself up on stage due to 'unacceptable' attire and the fact that the prizes were jigsaw puzzles meant for kids. Still, it was really cool and worthwhile to see a MJ Impersonator dance in the midst of Heartland Mall for a few minutes, hee hee!! :-p

After that ah... I went back home to watch 2 comedy-type of films... "Garfield" and "Mr Bean's Holiday". Next Sunday, I will be missing out on a lot...

Here are the pictures as promised... enjoy! ;-)

UATO Final 8 at Causeway Point

Happy Birthday to Vic Zhou and Natalie Portman

By the time you read this entry, I would have already resigned from a certain celeb's fanclub. The official fanclub that is. But I'm still part of the group sites in Facebook and Friendster of course. I believe some of you may have already figured out which fanclub I'm talking about.

Yesterday... 1230 to 1500 hrs

There was a superbly long and messy queue by the time I reached Causeway Point, each wanting to get the free camera in that nicely-decorated box. Then again, the crowd response wasn't as bad as I had initially thought. After much thought, I evetually decided to join the queue. Still thinking on when to use that camera... it'e been a long time since I last used a film-roll type camera (esp one that doesn't need batteries).

And yes, that stinkbomb Lei Jun was there... he so poor thing, can't afford enough cash to get himself a decent pair of shoes, always going out in those lousy slippers!!!

By 1355 hrs, the 8 UATO (U Are The One, what else) finalists got on stage, and hosting this event was Lin Cuifang (one of the hosts for the IMM last Sunday). They were involved in some Truth-or-Dare game, and the penalty was to get their forearms WAXED!! So thank goodness for the girls, they don't feel so much pain (except for the bimbotic Germaine).

But there were some unforgettable moments that took place as per Truth or Dare, such as Mable kissing Gavriil n the cheek, Yuan Shuai slapping Louis' butt, Louis making monkey face in response to Gavriil's question on which one of the 8 is in serious need for plastic surgery, etc. Nearly all the contestants needed to get waxed... and Gavriil had the wax tape pasted on his chest!

After that, it was game time with 8 teenage gals going up on stage, something to do with going from Point A to Point B with the UATO box lodged between different body parts... back-to-back, arm-to-arm, and forehead-to-forehead. The event ended at abt 1500 hrs, and I decided to go back home to take a rest... I can always see the UATO finalists (including the ones who didn't make it) later today. :-)

Interesting trivia... the 8 finalists have numbers that run in chronological order: F1, M2, F3, F4, F5, M6, M7, M8

This is the new arrangement for the Grand Finals this coming Sunday:
F1- Ren Liang Yi (formerly F3)
F2- Mable Soe (formerly F5)
F3- Germaine Chow (formerly F4)
F4- Tang Shi Qian (formerly F1)
M1- Gavriil Skaros (formerly M8)
M2- Louis Fong (formerly M6)
M3- Zhang Zhenhuan (formerly M2)
M4- Yuan Shuai (formerly M7)

Dedication to that attention seeking MKP

Happy Birthday to Shirin and Rahima (both Singapore Idol contestants)

I just got back from Causeway Point following a "U Are The One" roadshow (more details in very next post)... in a few minutes time I am going to have dinner and watch some Michael Jackson impersonation show at Heartland Mall (more details in a separate entry). So I will make this entry a quick one...

Some of you readers may have known that for a certain period of time, I have been engaged in a brutal conflict with that immature idiot nicknamed Mr Kiam Pa... full name Koh Tze Seng (based on extensive research from 'certain resources'). The mere thought of him just enrages me to the point of wanting to beat that idiot to a bloody pulp!! And I'm not the only one who is disgusted by him btw. I do have a f'ing problem with that arrogant, attention-seeking fella, and hence I shall 'give him more attention' he craves for by simply dedicating another neagtive-type song to him... one that is in relation to the MJ contest I am gonna watch soon. And no, I have no plans to upload his grotesque pictures anywhere in my blog (save for the earlier ones), for that will make most of you feel as sick and nauseous as I do.

Michael Jackson- BAD

Your butt is mine, gonna take you right
Just show your face in broad daylight
I'm telling you on how I feel
Gonna hurt your mind, don't shoot To Kill
Come on, come on, lay it on me, all right...

I'm giving you on count of three
To show your stuff or let it be
I'm telling you, just watch your mouth
I know your game, what you're about

Well they say the sky's the limit
And to me that's really true
But my friend, you have seen nothing
Just wait til I get through

Because I'm Bad, I'm Bad-Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad-You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad-Come On, You Know
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now
Just To Tell You Once Again
Who's Bad?

The word is out, you're doing wrong
Gonna lock you up before too long
Your lyin' eyes gonna take you right
So listen up, don't make a fight
Your talk is cheap, you're not a man
You're throwing stones to hide your hands

Well they say the sky's the limit
And to me that's really true
But my friends, you have seen nothing
Just wait til I get through

Because I'm Bad, I'm Bad, Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It, You Know
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now
Just To Tell You Once Again
Who's Bad?

We can change the worls tomorrow
This could be a better place
If you don't like what I;m saying
Then won't you slap my face

Because I'm Bad, I'm Bad-Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It, You Know
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
(And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now
Just To Tell You Once Again)

You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It, You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know, You Know, You Know, Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
(And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now)
(Just To Tell You Once Again)

You Know I'm Smooth, I'm Bad, You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm bad baby
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know, You Know, You Know It, Come On
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now
Hoo! (Just To Tell You Once Again)

You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, You Know, Hoo!
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
You Know I'm Bad, I'm Bad, You Know It, You Know
(Bad Bad, Really, Really Bad)
And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now
Just To Tell You Once Again... Who's Bad?

Flying off soon

Happy Birthday to Liam Neeson and Mick Foley

I have made my booking liao. In about one week's time, I will be flying off to Thailand to join my father in spreading the Word of God to the villagers living in the suburb parts of Central Thailand. This will be my first ever missionary experience. Meaning that for about 1 month, I gotta abstain from material things like TV and fast food. Something like living 'The Simple Life', minus Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie obviously.

Initially, we planned to go to the US to visit my paternal uncle and also attend my cousin's wedding. But due to certain complications, my dad got rather fed up, he decided not to go. Likewise I also preferred to go to Thailand, just so I can 'rediscover' my roots and see how the mission team goes about sharing quality time with the villagers. It's been about 6 years since I last went to Thailand... previous visit lasted for only 1 week, and i didn't gain much from it. This time round, I have much more time to get in touch with the lost youth I once enjoyed during my past visits to the Land of Siam. Fyi, I am 100% Singaporean.

QQ, I'm sorry to inform you that I can't attend your birthday gathering 2 weeks from now. I hope you're not mad at me...

The bright side of things is, I get to attend one more roadshow (a rather important one) next Saturday! Watch this space... ;-)

Things that make me angry

Happy Birthday to Chuck, Jialing and Peifang

It's about one more week to the worldwide launch of "The Incredible Hulk"... and although I am calm in nature, I sometimes get so enraged by something, I wish I could turn into the Hulk. Here is a list of things that make me wanna 'hulk up':
  1. people who either refuse or forget to set their handphones to silent mode in church or in the cinemas, despite constant reminders to do so;
  2. people who let their handphones ring damn loud in the bus or train for everyone to hear;
  3. people who try to lecture me and dissuade me from doing certain things, eg. going after artistes, and get the wrong idea that I'm becoming 'obsessed';
  4. idiots who dare to impersonate me online;
  5. idiots who dare give false testimony about my friends, or backstab them;
  6. losers who, having nothing better to do, resort to swindling people off their money through prank cals;
  7. people (mostly guys) who enter an elevator immediately after smoking (urgghhhh!!);
  8. motorcyclists with exhaust pipes that make very loud noises when they speed along a quiet road... this is NOT Grand Prix, damnit!!
  9. 2 contestants from "U Are The One" Final 8... I hope they DON'T get to the last 2 spots!!
  10. that stinkbomb Lei Jun and his family (comprising of mother, brother and cousin);
  11. that pig-faced retarded loser named Alvin (people hate him even more after the scene he caused at Ngee Ann City last month);
  12. a certain egoistic, arrogant and retarded camera-whore/bugger/stalker known as MKP, real name Koh TS. Given his constant bragging about his daily life, superbly broken English and posting up of his infant pictures in his blog, it's no wonder he's become a major hate target.

For info on the upcoming Incredible Hulk movie, stay tuned for the entry next week.

Watching Narnia part 2

Happy Birthday to...
4th June- Leo Caballes, Rainie, Kiat
5th June- Joey Swee, Evonne, Jovick

Yesterday I went to watch a fantasy type of film... "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian". Obviously this film is meant to be darker, more intense and more violent than the first (titled "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe"). Also, this film focuses strongly on the 'loss of innocence' theme. This time round, the main protagonist is Prince Caspian X who is faced with the dilemnia on whether to defeat his uncle Miraz to avenge his late father, or spare his life. The four Penvensie kids overall have more character and are therefore more interesting to watch than they were in the first film.

And the climatic battle is much bloodier and more violent than the first one; while there was a battle between different types of animals in the first film, this film portrays the Telmarine army as a brutal force making use of catapults and swords to overpower the Narnian citizens. And yes, the death toll in this film is much higher than that of the first one.

The only scene I felt was most unnecessary was the brief cameo of the White Witch, being briefly resurrected via an ice block by the black dwarf, the werewolf and the bird-faced hag. Then again, I believe that scene was meant to portray the vulnerability within Caspian and how close he was to setting the White Witch free (something like opening Pandora's Box), before Edmund came to shatter the wall in time before a major disaster could take place.

Still, this film is quite worth the watch for both young and old, I give it 4 out of 5 stars :-)

Next film to watch out for is The Incredible Hulk!! I can hardly wait... :-D

"U Are The One" elimination round (female)... Worst Fears Realized

Happy Birthday to Genecia Luo, Silver Ang, Vernice and Joscelin

I am so freaking pissed off. How I wish I could transform into The Hulk right now...

Nobody, and I do mean nobody, expected time to repeat itself. Who would have thought that OUR (the fans in general) worst fears have been realized... that stupid Cheena tramp Liang Yi got chosen by the judges to advance to the semi-finals!! WHAT?!?! KANINA!!!!!! :-O

I can accept the fact that Qiuting didn't qualify for the semi-finals due to less-than-favorable scores. But I totally CANNOT accept Yanyan (a Hey Gorgeous finalist) for going on to the next round, that makes me HATE her even more (ok, which judge favoured her the most?!?). Still I thought Rachelle had it worse than the other gals, she didn't win a single round throughout the 4 alternate weeks, and she was already sobbing shortly before the results were announced (much like Clement in last week's show). :-(

In the meantime, I wanna sincerely congratulate Shi Qian, Germaine and Mable for making it to the semis. These three I am totally cool with. All the best to you three. ;-)

The guest judge for last night's show was last year's Best Actor winner Zheng Geping (the latest addition in my Facebook list!), and of course I managed to take picture with him at the reception after the show. :-)

Earlier on, I got to take picture with the tall and gorgeous Genecia Luo, Miss Singapore Interantional 2007 winner (whom I got to know via Facebook). At last I managed to overcome my shyness after weeks of spotting Genecia at the reception... :-p

At abt 2230 hrs, Qiuting and Rachelle came out. Us QQ Lovelie fans got to chat with Qiuting, take pics with her and making cute poses. And that stinkbomb Lei Jun continued to traumatize the others with his super-strong BO, urghhhh!! After a long wait, me and Terence decided to take a cab home at abt 2330 hrs.

Qiuting, was I glad to know that you didn't shed a single tear after the results were announced, and that you continued to stay as cheerful as before. I admit I was gonna break down towards the end of the show, but fortunately I didn't. I wanna say again, I am very proud of you, I thought you performed really well for the Jaa-jaam-bo segment. In my heart you are Number 1. May we continue to keep in touch... I love you Qiuting! :-)

For the semi-finals on 15th June, that stupid Liang Yi BETTER NOT win the female category!!! I dare not make any prediction for the guys' side though... :-(
