A billion congratulations to Triple H and Shawn Michaels for becoming Unified WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time!!! They defeated Big Show and Chris Jericho in a TLC (Tables, Ladders, Chairs) match at WWE: TLC pay-per-view event earlier today. DX FTW!!! :-D
To Jeri-Show, if you ain't down with that, then we got TWO WORDS for ya...
SUCK IT!!!
December 12thRight after the SI Top 2 roadshow at Jurong Point ended, Naomi and myself took train to Iluma. Missed out on Ann Kok who was there at 3 pm, but that didnt matter. Christy Yow got on stage a few minutes after 4 pm and talked about the movie she appearas in, "Chinese Rose". Some of us then queued up to take picture with Christy at the Canon photo booth. I nearly fainted upon close contact with that despicable Lei Jun (known for his horrendous BO)... once a skunk, always a skunk, what more can I say?
Andie came at 5 plus and talked about his role reprisal as Tony Lee in the upcoming "Fighting Spiders Season 2", then went to the 8 days covers exhibit section to pose for a few photos. I stayed around a bit longer to look through the various covers, and then went off to Shaw Towers to have quick dinner. I nearly went berserk after a short dialogue with Mr K (forever wearing bermudas and slippers!! Pls stop it already!!!), on my way to bus stop. The more he talks, the more I feel like giving him a Spear. I didn't even wanna hear his story on his most recent conflict with whichever fanclub... this is precisely why I don't ever join local singers' fanclubs, not even Rachel Leong (geddit!!).
December 13th
I went to church in the morning, did brilliance control duty (aka brightness and contrast adjustment for side cameras) for morning service. After that, I had lunch with Mother and Brother at Hk Cafe, then headed off to Iluma by bus... reached Bugis at 12.30 pm.
There were quite a lot of fans present at Iluma, majority of them were fans of Sezairi and Sylvia, with about 8 NATural fans seated in the middle (most of them went up on stage later). The artistes on stage from 2 to 3 plus were the Polo Boys (Nat, Kiwi and Julian Low), the ladies from the upcoming drama "The Pupil" (Rebecca Lim, Janice Koh and Elfaeza Ul Haq), and last but not least, the Singapore Idol season 3 finalists (Sezairi and Sylvia). The 1000th cover of 8 days was unveiled and it featured Cherie Lim, Zoe Tay and Joanne Peh (as well as an animated version of Angelina Jolie) dressed in specially esigned dresses bearing all previous 8 days covers).
By 3 plus, the SI fans had dispersed and left Iluma, taking over front row position were the Felicity fans as well as the Jollity fans. Urghhh, it's that guy in bermudas and slippers again... 3rd time I had seen him in a row!! Also, Mr Hao Lian (the guy in formal clothes) and his stuttering younger brother were present. Suhaimi got on stage before 4 pm and promoted the upcoming okto show "Those Were The Days". He then conducted a few kampung-themed games with a few fans as players, including "Jacky Cheung" who so happened to be at the front row (kena chosen, no self-volunteered)... he didnt win the rubber band knotting round, but at least he didnt go loony, like the other time at Chinatown Point.
5 pm... Felicia finally came!! She looked really sweet and beautiful in black dress, but she wasn't feeling well... her voice sounded kinda raspy and for an instance, I thought she sounded like Sylvia Ratonel, hee hee!! The onstage game was for 3 fans to pose like Felicia as seen on one of the pages seen in Issue 984... the fans were a plump guy in Japan-themed shirt who seemed to have a big ego, a young lady with good figure in white top and a weird middle aged lady who likes to snoop into other people's bags. Fel left the place at around 4.20 pm, surrounded by lots of security guards. One of the security guards pushed me so hard, he nearly bruised my face. When Mr Hao Lian saw the card that I made for Felicia, he tried to start a conversation with me, I simply told him to "talk to the hand".
I took taxi to Radiogate alongside Eric, and Felicia came out at 6.05 pm. Abt 20 of us fansqueued up to get autographs as well as take pic with the beautiful Miss Chin. Mission accomplished!! After having dinner at Great World City (Eric needed me to accompany him back to his workplace, so I obliged) I went back home feeling very happy. But deep down, I am actually not pleased with a few guys (Mr S and Mr F) who chose not to go for the event. I am also very pissed with those 2 idiots Melvin and Paul who keep taking too many solo pics of Fel... when will they ever stop!!! They seriously need some Attitudde Adjustment.

Friday, 11th DecemberAnother busy day at work from 9 to 6, as always. After knocking off, I headed down to City Square (Farrer Park region) and joined Jolliteers pus NATurals to await start of programme. Turns out that both Nat and Joanne were already present way before I arrived. They got on stage and talked a bit about what they've been up to, then they sang Christmas songs. Jopeh sang "Last Christmas" (one of the song sung during Xmas gathering at Leisure Park last year), and Nat sang "The Christmas Song" (the one that starts off with "chestnuts roasted on an open fire"). They then headed to the pumpkin-shaped chariot to light up a huge Christmas Tree via foot pedals (think Prince Charming and Cinderella). The 2 left a few minutes before 8. Some of the fans headed down to carpark, while I chose to head back home to recuperate. The train ride wasn't very pleasant, I had to endure a few rantings from Mr K regarding a certain conflict which I don't even wanna know about.
Saturday, 13th Dec (12 to 3 pm)
Slacked at home for most of the day. Left the house at 11 and reached Jurong Point at abt 12.30 pm following a rather long train ride. Had quick lunch at Mos Burger with Naomi, then we headed back to the SI stage region. Think the turnout was quite similar to the one at Together roadshow last week. Man, the roadshow started damn late at 2.15 pm, caused most of us to get sprained ankles as well as 'pins-n-needles'. Sezairi and Sylvia got on stage, sang a few songs and gave away tickets for the Countdown at Marine Bay as well as mosh pit tickets to the Grand Finals on December 27th. S n S then stayed around for abt 20 minutes to sign autographs for fans at barricade region, they left at about 3.05 pm. Naomi and I then took train from Boon Lay down to Bugis for next event. Continued in Part 2...

Power Up a Christmas Tree event
Singapore Idol Top 2 finalists roadshow at Jurong Point

This is the second song I am dedicating to Felicia... yep that's right, it's the very song that shot a young man named Michael Jackson to superstardom in the 80s, into the gretest entertainer of all time!! And this will be the original version that I'm posting up, not the Chris Cornell rendition... but if you prefer the latter, then that's ok too. :-)
BILLIE JEAN- Michael Jackson
She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful of what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (hee hee-ee)
And mother always told me be careful of who you love
Be careful of what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth, hey hey...
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one (oh babe)
But the kid is not my son (hoo!)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Hee hee hee... hee hee hee... hoo!!
For forty days and forty nights
The law was on her side
But who can stand when she's in demand
Her schemes and plans
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice,
Just remember to always think twice
(Do think twice!) Do think twice (Hoo!)
She told my baby that's a threat
As she looked at me
Then showed a photo of a baby cries
Eyes would like mine (oh no)
Gonna dance on the floor in the round (hee hee hee)
People always told me be careful of what you do
And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (don't break your heart!)
She came and stood right by me, then the smell of sweet perfume
This happened much too soon, she called me to her room, hey hey...
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no no no no, hoo!)
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no no)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Hee hee hee... hee hee hee
Hee! Hoo! (cue moonwalk and screams of joy)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
No no no... hoo! OHH
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
(Don't mess with me babe) But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
She says I am the one (you know what you did)
She says he is my son (breaking my heart, babe)
She says I am the one
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover (fade)

I will be dedicating TWO songs to the returning Princess, none other than Felicia Chin. This is actually taken from one of Westlife's acts for the Face To Face world tour. The second song is something that most people should be familiar with. Happy Birthday to Kurt Angle and Nurulain
Man, I am truly over the moon... along with many other screaming fans who were at MediaCorp theater last night. Sylvia Ratonel, the hot babe who never fails to bedazzle me with her beauty and vocal prowess, is going to the Finals on December 27th, alongside the versatile musician Sezairi. As for Tabby, she ended up 3rd place, but left on a high note.

Ok first and foremost, I had dinner with Ishardi and Naomi at McDonald's outlet opposite Amk Hub, trying to recover from staring at too many hot babes in short pants. From there, we met Sariah who gave us a lift to MediaCorp. I said hi to "Michael Jackson" at the parking lot and the mosh pit group was finally let into the theater at around 7.45 pm. And thank god there was no sign of that faggot Sherry!! But what puzzled me was... what was he doing at the reception on Thursday evening?

Once inside the theater, we had a whale of a time. I tell you my eyes were fixed on Sylvia for the whole 5 minutes when she sang "Angel" (I'm not just referring to her figure)... she totally nailed it there, as well as for the second song. Sezairi did pretty well too, but Tabby didn't seem very good with her first song. The preview of the 3 judges on cover of 8 days as mightily hilarious... the one with Ken and his older son was decent, but the 1992 covers of Flo and Dick with retro 80s hairdos were shocking!! The Ousted Idols who came for the recording were the usual: Duane, Farhan, Malaque and Nurul. During the live coverage for News 5, it was Gurmit chatting with Ken Lim.

Little did I expect that abominable scum named Sean Koh Tze Seng to be present at Mdc Theater (and to think that he's from the same poly as Tabby, urghhh!!). I personally felt that Shawn Tok (yes, the CSS 2 champ!!) who was rooting for Tabby is a hell lot better than Mr Koh. If I had things my way, I would have called out Duane and Farhan to give Sean Koh a 3-D through the judges' table, muahahaha!! :-p
Results show at 10 pm... Sylvia's name announced first, followed by Sezairi's. Already i could see most of the young ang moh girls in Tabby's sector crying, as well as Shawn Tok.

As always, the long wait at the reception wasn't a pleasant one, with fans going into a "Scream-Off" and everyone feeling very stuffy with the lights so dim and the aircons turned off. The Idols (7 of them) came out at around 11.30 pm... most of the attention was on the Top 3. I took pic with Sylvia first, then with Tabby, and finally with Sezairi. Last spotted Tabby going out with Duane and Farhan. I reached home at around 12.40 am after 2 bus rides.
On a personal note, I had come to realize that I shouldn't even have made that dare that I would "stop watching Singapore Idol should there not be a girl in the Finals", that was just a silly thing to do. I very nearly didnt want to follow the series at first, back in June I was rather skeptical towards the show as a whole. But the cynicism is gone totally, with 2 strongest competitors making it to the Finals. Sylvia and Sezairi truly deserved to be in the Finals, they really do. I'm so looking forward to December 27th. Can't wait to see them again at Jurong Point this coming Saturday... :-)
