SYNOPSIS
Power struggle within a notorious mafia gang led to the murder of several triad leaders. Before detectives Ouyang Li and Dylan can get to the real killer of Futai, he was murdered under mysterious circumstances. A series of chain murders occur where the dead are criminals. This led the detectives to uncover an underground operation "Dragontooth", whose members mete out capital punishment on those they deem guilty. Ouyang is later framed for the murder of one of the members Ryan, and tries to clear his own name while on the run, and at the same time discovers that someone close to him is actually a member of Dragontooth! Will Ouyang be able to uncover the secrets of "Dragontooth" and clear his name in this game of deceit?

Chen Hanwei plays impulsive, hot-headed and overconfident detective Ouyang Li. He believes strongly in upholding justice and that evil cannot triumph over good. He tends to rub people the wrong way with his reckless and unpredictable behavior as well as his arrogance.
Terence Cao plays calm, composed and thoughtful Di Lun. He grew up in the same orphanage as Ouyang Li, possesses excellent memory and has an aptitude for drawing. Although he shares the same goal as Li, he is somewhat pessimistic over personal issues, especially when it comes to finding his father's killer.
Rui En plays the steel-willed, cold and aloof CID Chief An Xiaoqian. She believes in the law and goes all out to prove it. An unhappy childhood made her who she is today, thus she has this emotional wall that keeps people at a safe distance. She doesn't trust anyone easily and has no faith in relationships.
Yvonne Lim plays the sweet, warm and gentle psychologist Wen Wanrou. Highly observant and possesses an in-depth understanding of psychology. A traumatic encounter with a rapist left her emotionally distraught, and things turn for the worse when her father and brother are accidentally killed by Ouyang Li...
Thomas Ong plays the charming and gregarious Hu Xi Cun, a forensic pathologist who helps out with the CID. Had been wooing Xiaoqian for a long time. As the leader of Dragontooth, he has a strong belief that the world should be free of crime and evil, and that evildoers ought to be given capital punishment.
