Injustice: Gods Among Us Part 15A: Harley Quinn intro


Harley Quinn is a fictional character, a super villain in the DC Universe. The character was introduced on September 11, 1992, in Batman: The Animated Series and later adapted into DC Comics' Batman comic books, first appearing in The Batman Adventures #12 (September 1993), due to overwhelmingly positive reaction from the fans. As suggested by her name (a play on the word "harlequin"), she is clad in the manner of a traditional harlequin jester. The character is a frequent accomplice/girlfriend of Batman's nemesis the Joker, and is also close to Poison Ivy, from whom she gained her immunity to poisons and toxins.
IGN's 2009 list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time ranked Harley Quinn as #45. She was ranked 16th in Comics Buyer's Guide's "100 Sexiest Women in Comics" list.

Game Description

"Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatrist who fell in love with her patient: The Joker, after various sessions. Intoxicated by him, she adopted the Harley Quinn persona and helps in his criminal pursuits."

Powers and Abilities
Toxic Immunity: The antitoxin injected into Harley by her dear friend Poison Ivy immunizes her to various assorted toxins and Ivy's own poisonous touch.
Psychiatry: Prior to being acquinted with the Joker, Harley was trained as in the field of psychoanalysis.
Gymnastics: She is a very spectacular gymnast, due to the antitoxin enhacning her agility. Her skills rival with those of Catwoman and Nightwing.
