WWE Live 2017 in Singapore Part 2

Continued from Part 1... it was right after the lights turned on that I realized how lucky I was. My seat in Sector 128 (which I had purchased in mid March) was very close to the sector where some deejays were seated... Sector 129!! πŸ˜€πŸ˜ƒ So I took the chance to get a photo with Class 95 FM deejay Tim Oh, andd then followed by Class 95 FM deejay Justin Ang (recognizable by his blond rooster-like hairdo and big build), as well as 987FM deejays Sonia and Joakim (the latter whom I had known since Singapore Idol season 2)... turns out that it was Sonia's first ever WWE show thanks to Joakim's recommendation πŸ˜πŸ˜»πŸ‘

I did think about going to the restroom, but when I saw the long queue there, I decided to stay put where I was seated (though I shifted to a slightly closer sector, having noticed a few empty seats).

The show resumed with a 6 women Tag Team match, the first ever such match in WWE Live Singapore history. And all 6 ladies πŸ‘ΈπŸ’— happen to be NXT alumni! Nia Jax made her way to the ring first, causing some fans to be rather astonished by her big build. Next came Emma with a lukewarm response. Then huge pops for the WWE Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. As I was recording a video of the ladies' entrances, I was so caught up with excitement, I actually said out rather loudly, "Sialah, Alexa's butt very big xiah!!" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜† (and also partly cos I was thinking abt Sonia who was of same age and similar physique) causing a few guys to turn their heads and look at me with surprise 😲 Then came Bayley who had a decent pop, Sasha Banks aka The Boss, and lastly longest reigning NXT Women's Champion Asuka.

I gotta admit, this match was quite worth the watch, more interesting than some of the matches from the first half. A comical moment happened when Asuka did the Stink Face onto Emma, then Bayley did the same thing, and Sasha rubbed her sexy butt onto poor Emma. I couldn't seem to get my eyes off Alexa's rear end, but thankfully she wasn't the one to suffer the loss. It was Emma who attempted to pin Asuka, only to get trapped within the Asuka Lock and having no choice but to tap out. The 3 'good girls' mingled with the fans at ringside and blew kisses before heading back to the locker room.

The 2nd last match is my personal favorite, not just because it has one of my fave wrestlers Finn Balor, but also bcos it was a reunion of sorts: Balor with his former bandmates from the Bullet Club! The fans were even chanting "Bullet Club! Bullet Club!" before the bell rang. Now if only AJ Styles were here... it's a shame that he's on Smackdown.

Karl Anderson even teased the Bullet Club salute in the early minutes of the showdown, only to attack Balor. Luke Gallows (aka Festus, Imposter Kane) even slammed Balor onto the ring apron, then pretended as if nothing happened. 2 very funny instances happened here: 1) the fans would shout out "TEN!! TEN!! TEN!!" in tribute to Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger, whenever the referee made the 10-count for the wrestler to get back into the ring, or for both wrestlers to get up, 2) when a kickout occurred during a pinfall attempt, the fans were going, "One, two, 2... SWEEEET!!" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Ή In the end Balor managed to knock out Gallows with a diving cross body, then he took out Anderson with a Sling Blade and a front dropkick, followed by the Coup De Grace finisher onto Anderson for the win! πŸ˜„πŸ˜πŸ‘

And now down to the MAAAAIIIIN EVENT... this match is scheduled for one fall (ONE FALL!) The whole place turned dark, and the fans immediately turned on their cellphone torchlights to signify the fireflies, and also welcome Bray Wyatt, the Eater of Worlds, and whose girlfriend happens to be in the ring too (smirk). The moment the lights turned on, the fans immediately started booing mercilessly for... who else but the overrated Roman Reigns. Then came the chants such as "You suck!", "Roman sucks!", "Let's go Wyatt, ROMAN SUCKS!!" and even "We want Strowman". At some point I was yelling out "Hey Roman, put your arms down lah, you stink!!" πŸ˜–πŸ˜πŸ˜«

Somewhere in the middle of the match, the fans were chanting "Undertaker! Undertaker!" and Roman picked up the mike to say something... only to realize that he forgot to turn it on! DOHHH epic fail πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… once he turned the mike on, he talked some stuff about the Deadman being smarter than to accept his challenge at WrestleMania 33, or stuff liddat. Later on Bray talked a bit on the mike, asking the fans if they paid to see Roman Reigns, to which we all booed loudly. He then asked if we paid to see him (Bray) beat up and destroy Roman (to which we cheered obviously). Unfortunately his overconfidence was to be his downfall, as he failed TWICE to lay out RR with Sister Abigail, and was on the receiving end of a Spear. Roman got some cheers for winning the match (and partly burying Wyatt), he threw his trademark gloves to the crowd, and slowly made his way up the entrance ramp. And that was the conclusion of the entire WWE Live show, at 2215 hrs.

As the show ended, I made or rather limped all the way out of the stdaium, heading for the back door of the stadium. I only managed to see Finlay (retired wrestler now working as a backstage personnel) and Sheamus heading for the bus. I felt the urgent need to head for the washroom at Stadium MRT station, and halfway there I heard fans chanting "Y2J! Y2J!" but it was already too late to turn back.
