Oh man, I had no idea that Fendi, Shauna and Dr Doom v2 went to perform at Timbres on Monday night... then again, I wouldnt be able to make it at all due to the fact that the event is late at night (2215 hrs leh). Hope to see them (no, NOT Mr VT!!) again sometime soon... :-/

Transformers Movie DVD is out liao, and I cant wait to buy it asap... however, the idea of a transforming CD case as seen at Borders seems to go at an overkill. I'm more contented to buy a DVD wif the normal plastic box look than one wif a flashy design...

Been busy wif school these days, I got a lot of brainstorming to do for the portfolio project thingy, esp when it comes to creating a new game (similar to Star Wars, Mortal Kombat or X-Men). Storyline, character development, packaging and all that... a lot of challenges ahead, but I like. :-)

Advanced 3D lesson was quite a blast, cos we got to create our own spacecrafts via Maya 7.0 as well as a cityscape for the ship to fly around with the aid of a curve path... some pics of what I had done so far (stay tuned for more). Find the spacecraft design familiar? I modelled it after Obi-Wan's and Anakin's Eta-class starfighters in Star Wars Episode III... :-p

On Sat afternoon, I went to Wheellock Place for a short while to see Pornsak, Jeff, Pat, Julian, Vivian and Jeremy Kwan filming for "The Mission", at Sakae Sushi and Snail Nails (for manicure that is). I doubt Pat saw me at all, mostly due to the fact that I had to leave the place halfway to report to work... what I missed out totally was Zoe Tay's surprise appearance at Wheellock Place abt an hour after I left, as well as the birthday gathering for Felicia and her fans due to change in timing, but that's totally alright with me cos as the saying goes, "There's always a next time..." :-)

On Sunday aka yesterday, it was a really rushed day, cos I had to rush to work straight after church service ended. Then work as usual from 11 am to 5.30 pm... I decided to take a train to Ang Mo Kio since it's much easier to get a taxi from there rather than from the busy roads of Orchard...reached Mediacorp at 1820 hrs, then entered the theater to watch the show! Wahahaha... can relax easy :-)


The stage design used for the show was so awesome, I decided to sketch it out so I can get some ideas from it for my project. And for the first time ever, I 'broke the rules' by taking pics wif my camera phone during the show... we were screamin our voices hoarse for celebs like Nat, Joanne, Christopher and Yuwu as well as singers like A-Do, Meixin, Angela Chang and Sky Wu. I was greatly weakened by Angela's chipmunk-like voice, and amazed by Chen Lei's athleticism; after singing the first song, he did a BACKFLIP AND A LEG SPLIT!!! @_@ The only part of the show I didnt like was the opera item on the butterfly lovers Liang Sanpo and Zhu Yingtai. I found it to be quite dull...


After the show ended at 10 pm, there was a gift-presenting ceremony for all the VIPs and the celebs involved in the show. Mark Lee was really funny when reading out the names of the celebs, saying things like "Most Popular Newcomer award goes to... Nathaniel Ho!!" and "The one who may win Best Actress, Joanne Peh!!".


The ceremony was finished by 2210 hrs, and by the time me and the Nat fans reached the reception at 2213 hrs, we were very surprised to see Spider-man aka Qi Yuwu at the lift lobby!! At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, and I was like, "How on earth did he get to the lift lobby so quickly??" It was like, he somehow 'teleported'!! :-O Nevertheless, I joined the other fans in 'queueing up' to take picture wif the (very) handsome actor, but I couldnt get his autograph cos he already entered the lift wif the Mingzhu Sisters... well at least I got one main objective completed! :-)

After that, it was time to rush to Radiogate. First artiste who came out was Ke Mingde... I mean, Adam Chen. Later, Apple Hong drove out and took pic wif mostly male fans, but I never got to take pic wif the meinu cos she wound up the car window and drove off after the last person. :-( But never mind, at least still got the other meinus Kym, Jopeh and Mich Chong to take pic wif! The best part was, the flash function for my digicam had come back once more!! At first I planned of going to the reception to see the 881 cast and Nat, but when Kai Leng and Ryan headed for RG, I knew right away that all of them had left. Oh well, at least my main objectives have been achieved...


The biggest surprise for the night was, I bumped into New Yiqing at the bus stop again!! :-D
