To start off yesterday, I woke up early and headed off to chursh for camera duty. Sermon preached in church today was based on Joshua chapter 10 (God helping the helpless)... I couldn't take down any notes cos me and the other guy had to stand all the way and follow the pastor's movements. After service ended at 10.15 am, the AVA team were dismissed, and I decided to take a bus to Suntec Convention for a while...
Wah lau eh, IT fair damn crowded lor!! I only managed to loiter around the 1st level, and decided not to go to 2nd level due to overwhelming response on the escalators. So I made my way thru underpass to the bus stop in front of St Andrew's Cathedral, where I took a bus to Clarke Quay region. Purpose of going there was to attend some gathering with Qiuting and fellow friends (10 of us in total) at Settlers' Cafe. Haha, my third time going there... 2 hours of pure madness and fun, hehe. We played Heart Attack related games (one of them being "Jurassic Jumble"), Panda-monium, CockyDocky game (something like UNO, but with some twists) and Chardoodles. I think it was 7 games in total. We ended the session at 2.30 pm (30 min extension), then walked all the way to City Hall region. Many thanks for making this gathering possible, Joey... :-)
Unfortunately, photos during the gathering will have to wait for now, I can still show you a few pictures I took after the gathering... ;-)
By the time i reached Bugis Junction, it was raining rather heavily. Pat Mok was being interviewed under the shelter, and Dai Yang Tian + Belinda were inside the rather small hut-like strcuture linked to the main stage.
By 4 plus, Dennis Chew got on stage to host the segment featuring DYT and Belinda. Those were the only artistes I managed to catch, Fiona and the rest had already left earlier. Did I forget to mention that I was one of 6 lucky fans (3 guys, 3 gals) to go up on stage to imitate the 2 celebs' actions? Stay tuned for pics of myself and the others on stage coming up... ;-p

By the time Belinda and DYT were escorted out of Bugis Junction at unbelievable speed, the rain came back yet again, and obviously I was in no mood to go to Suntec for the IT Fair (knowing that the response at the upper levels would be a lot worse than ealier on). So I had quick dinner at Pastamania with friends and took train back to Kovan. Thought of buying another Mystic Force Power Ranger toy for collection, but decided not to... I am already so big lor, why buy another one? For nearly the whole day, I was going "Whoa, man" everytime I see a slim young babe in short pants...
