Main characters in Avengers Endgame
Avengers: Endgame is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2012's The Avengers, 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and the twenty-second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin. In the film, the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies attempt to reverse the damage caused by Thanos in Infinity War.
Tony Stark aka Iron Man
The benefactor and founding member of the Avengers who aids the team by using electromechanical armored suits of his own making. After being rescued from outer space, Stark learnt to accept his teammates' demises and started a family with Pepper Potts.
Steve Rogers aka Captain America
A World War II veteran, he was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum and frozen in suspended animation for 7 decades, before being thawed out and waking up in the modern world. He was then appointed the leader of the Avengers.
Bruce Banner aka The Hulk
A nuclear physicist who possesses enhanced strength and a monstrous alter ego due to exposure to gamma radiation in an experiment gone wrong. He managed to balance his 2 personalities with extensive gamma experimentation, enabling him to combine his intelligence with the Hulk's strength and physical stature.
Thor Odinson
King of Asgard and Norse god of Thunder who wields a mystical axe known as Stormbreaker, which he forged along with Eitri on Nidavellir. Due to his guilt over failing to stop Thanos from eradicating half of living creatures across the universe, Thor became an overweight, drunken ruler of New Asgard in Tonsberg, Norway.
Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow
A highly trained spy who continues to command several teams from around the galaxy in the Avengers HQs, stemmed from her inability to move on from their failure to stop Thanos.
Clint Barton aka Hawkeye
A master archer who became a murderous vigilante known as Ronin, following the disappearance of his entire family due to Thanos' Decimation.
James Rhodes aka War Machine
A former officer in the US Air Force and Avenger, whose newfound belonging was reflected on his more instinctive and realist worldview in the midst of encountering the fantastic.
Scott Lang aka Ant-Man
A former petty criminal who acquired a suit that allows him to shrink or grow in scale, as well as increase in strength.
Rocket Raccoon
One of 2 surviving Guardians, he is a genetically modified faccoon bounty hunter, mercenary and weapons master. He is instrumental in helping Thor with their quest to find the Reality Stone.
Nebula
One of 2 surviving Guardians who undergoes a redemption arc during the film where she makes amends for her past actions, such as teaming up with War Machine to travel across the galaxy.
Okoye
A Wakandan traditionalist from the Border Tribe who is the head of the Dora Milaje, Wakanda's all-female special forces and bodyguard of T'Challa aka the Black Panther and King of Wakanda.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel
A former US Air Force pilot whose DNA was altered during an accident, imbuing her with superhuman strength, energy projection and flight.
