HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Siok Yee
My back... my back...!!! The pain is getting from bad to worse for no reason... now I know how it feels like to have gone through serious back injuries, much like Shawn Michaels and JBL . :-(
After a dreadful day at work, I made a crazy dash to Plaza Singapura to attend a Heng or Huat roadshow. Other than the Naturals, I also saw Melvin, Terence, Shan Yi, Edmund and that shorty who often stutters and goes "L-l-lim p-p-pei". Cast got on stage at 1725 hrs... Nat and Youyi looked quite compatible, I noticed. Youyi's beauty nearly caused me to melt, but I somehow mustered the courage to say, "You're very pretty" wheni got on stage to get my copy of the Heng Or Huat DVD signed on. Most of the attention was focused on Nat and Youyi... I didnt really focus much on Maggie Theng or Lin Xiao or Shawn Tok. The God of Fortune and Belinda Lee were as jovial as ever, whereas the other 4 male Campus Superstars (Benjamin, Marcus, Zijie and Guohao) seemed rather bored. I saw some despicable soul there, but lucky he stayed for a short while (more on that in the next post).
Then when the cast got escorted upstairs, most of us followed them to the 3rd level, and waited outside. Then after Nat and Youyi got out from the meeting room, we all proceeded to take pictures wif the good-lookers. Then we went our separate ways, and i took a train from Dhoby Ghaut to Tampines, where I had my dinner at Tampines Mall. Hung around Toys R Us for a while, bought Daren Tan's album from Popular bookstore, then took train to Changi Airport. Met up wif Mum at the Terminal 2 bus stop region, and together we took a free shuttle bus to Budget Terminal. It was a long and boring wait there, but thank goodness I got Walkman to listen to. Dad arrived at 12 midnight, and then we took taxi back home. And my backache is still not getting any better... :-(
