It was a great success!! I managed to take pic with all 4 artistes involved at the Nanyang Poly Open House earlier today!! :-D
To start off the day, I left the house rather early, reaching Ang Mo Kio station at abt 1040 hrs to meet up with Naomi. We then took MRT to Yio Chu Kang to meet up with Ryan and Grace... then we made out way to Nanyang Poly. I 'nearly didn't make it' inside due to the number of hawt babes i saw along the way... blame it on my 'buayaness', WHOOPS!!! :-X
The happenings took place at the mainstage region located in the midst of Block A. It's been abt 6 years since I last stepped within the premises of the place... check out the various course categories depicted in the banners...
From 11 plus to 12.40 pm, there were various dance segments going on... the hip-hop dance esemble consisting of about 30 to 40 individuals was rather maddening. The ones with the Japanese themed dancers was kinda catchy.
Ok, I'll skip to the important part... at 1250 hrs, Class 95 DJ Jean Danker came out to host some segment on "Don't Forget The Lyrics". Apparently, the game was meant for the poly students to participate. Songs covered were Rihanna's "Please Don't Stop The Music", Jason Mraz' "I'm Yours" and another hip-hop song I'm not so familiar with. This rendition of DFTL is actually a radio version, but it wasn't very interesting due to lack of visuals; it relied more on mulitple choice, identical to the SMS contest.
Soon after, came the first celeb guest... Alaric Tay better known as Andre Chichak from "The Noose". He talks about his role in an upcoming sitcom titled "Serves You Right" that stars him and Fiona, among a few other artistes. The show will debut on January 27th at 8 pm.
Then came Julian, Tracy and Celest!! They talk about their roles in Channel 5's first ever long-running drama series, "Red Thread". It debuts on 7th April at 8 pm, and will be shown every Tuesday to Thursday.
After some Q n A session, the cast gave some last words before leaving the place.
After that, we headed to the foyer region at the entrance of the campus center to take pic with the others. Julian, Tracy and finally Alaric. Tracy was equally delighted to see me again ever since the last day of Calefare. :-)
Missions accomplished!! After we bade farewell to the 4 of them, the 4 of us (TGRN) went our separate ways.
I decided to give the Ngee Ann Poly Open House a miss, opting to go to Northpoint for a bit of recce. Then I took a bus home and nearly got nosebleed due to a pretty and hawt babe in the bus. This had happened way too often, usually on my way back home from work.
