December 12th
Right after the SI Top 2 roadshow at Jurong Point ended, Naomi and myself took train to Iluma. Missed out on Ann Kok who was there at 3 pm, but that didnt matter. Christy Yow got on stage a few minutes after 4 pm and talked about the movie she appearas in, "Chinese Rose". Some of us then queued up to take picture with Christy at the Canon photo booth. I nearly fainted upon close contact with that despicable Lei Jun (known for his horrendous BO)... once a skunk, always a skunk, what more can I say?
Andie came at 5 plus and talked about his role reprisal as Tony Lee in the upcoming "Fighting Spiders Season 2", then went to the 8 days covers exhibit section to pose for a few photos. I stayed around a bit longer to look through the various covers, and then went off to Shaw Towers to have quick dinner. I nearly went berserk after a short dialogue with Mr K (forever wearing bermudas and slippers!! Pls stop it already!!!), on my way to bus stop. The more he talks, the more I feel like giving him a Spear. I didn't even wanna hear his story on his most recent conflict with whichever fanclub... this is precisely why I don't ever join local singers' fanclubs, not even Rachel Leong (geddit!!).
December 13th
I went to church in the morning, did brilliance control duty (aka brightness and contrast adjustment for side cameras) for morning service. After that, I had lunch with Mother and Brother at Hk Cafe, then headed off to Iluma by bus... reached Bugis at 12.30 pm.
There were quite a lot of fans present at Iluma, majority of them were fans of Sezairi and Sylvia, with about 8 NATural fans seated in the middle (most of them went up on stage later). The artistes on stage from 2 to 3 plus were the Polo Boys (Nat, Kiwi and Julian Low), the ladies from the upcoming drama "The Pupil" (Rebecca Lim, Janice Koh and Elfaeza Ul Haq), and last but not least, the Singapore Idol season 3 finalists (Sezairi and Sylvia). The 1000th cover of 8 days was unveiled and it featured Cherie Lim, Zoe Tay and Joanne Peh (as well as an animated version of Angelina Jolie) dressed in specially esigned dresses bearing all previous 8 days covers).
By 3 plus, the SI fans had dispersed and left Iluma, taking over front row position were the Felicity fans as well as the Jollity fans. Urghhh, it's that guy in bermudas and slippers again... 3rd time I had seen him in a row!! Also, Mr Hao Lian (the guy in formal clothes) and his stuttering younger brother were present. Suhaimi got on stage before 4 pm and promoted the upcoming okto show "Those Were The Days". He then conducted a few kampung-themed games with a few fans as players, including "Jacky Cheung" who so happened to be at the front row (kena chosen, no self-volunteered)... he didnt win the rubber band knotting round, but at least he didnt go loony, like the other time at Chinatown Point.
5 pm... Felicia finally came!! She looked really sweet and beautiful in black dress, but she wasn't feeling well... her voice sounded kinda raspy and for an instance, I thought she sounded like Sylvia Ratonel, hee hee!! The onstage game was for 3 fans to pose like Felicia as seen on one of the pages seen in Issue 984... the fans were a plump guy in Japan-themed shirt who seemed to have a big ego, a young lady with good figure in white top and a weird middle aged lady who likes to snoop into other people's bags. Fel left the place at around 4.20 pm, surrounded by lots of security guards. One of the security guards pushed me so hard, he nearly bruised my face. When Mr Hao Lian saw the card that I made for Felicia, he tried to start a conversation with me, I simply told him to "talk to the hand".
I took taxi to Radiogate alongside Eric, and Felicia came out at 6.05 pm. Abt 20 of us fansqueued up to get autographs as well as take pic with the beautiful Miss Chin. Mission accomplished!! After having dinner at Great World City (Eric needed me to accompany him back to his workplace, so I obliged) I went back home feeling very happy. But deep down, I am actually not pleased with a few guys (Mr S and Mr F) who chose not to go for the event. I am also very pissed with those 2 idiots Melvin and Paul who keep taking too many solo pics of Fel... when will they ever stop!!! They seriously need some Attitudde Adjustment.

Second song dedication to Miss Chin
This is the second song I am dedicating to Felicia... yep that's right, it's the very song that shot a young man named Michael Jackson to superstardom in the 80s, into the gretest entertainer of all time!! And this will be the original version that I'm posting up, not the Chris Cornell rendition... but if you prefer the latter, then that's ok too. :-)
BILLIE JEAN- Michael Jackson
She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful of what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (hee hee-ee)
And mother always told me be careful of who you love
Be careful of what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth, hey hey...
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one (oh babe)
But the kid is not my son (hoo!)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Hee hee hee... hee hee hee... hoo!!
For forty days and forty nights
The law was on her side
But who can stand when she's in demand
Her schemes and plans
Gonna dance on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice,
Just remember to always think twice
(Do think twice!) Do think twice (Hoo!)
She told my baby that's a threat
As she looked at me
Then showed a photo of a baby cries
Eyes would like mine (oh no)
Gonna dance on the floor in the round (hee hee hee)
People always told me be careful of what you do
And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (don't break your heart!)
She came and stood right by me, then the smell of sweet perfume
This happened much too soon, she called me to her room, hey hey...
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no no no no, hoo!)
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no no)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Hee hee hee... hee hee hee
Hee! Hoo! (cue moonwalk and screams of joy)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
No no no... hoo! OHH
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
(Don't mess with me babe) But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
She says I am the one (you know what you did)
She says he is my son (breaking my heart, babe)
She says I am the one
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover
Billie Jean is not my lover (fade)
First song dedication to Miss Chin
I will be dedicating TWO songs to the returning Princess, none other than Felicia Chin. This is actually taken from one of Westlife's acts for the Face To Face world tour. The second song is something that most people should be familiar with. In the meantime, do check out these first few pics of the latest Silkygirl calendar featuring you-know-who!! :-)
She's Back- Westlife
Took some time to heal
To get my heartbeat back
Just when I'm ahead
Returning from the dead
She's back again...
She knows just what to say
She always gets her way
Just when I was free
She's back inside of me
She's back again
[Chorus]
So tell me why the hell I hear music
Every time she calls I hear music
Is it just the way she loves to confuse me
Oh baby, oh
Just when I moved on
Believed that she was gone
She's back again... she's back
She's back again... she's back
Like a predator and prey
She'll tear my heart away
She'll chew me to the bone
Leave me rotting here alone
'Til she's back again
[chorus]
So tell me why the hell I hear music
Every time she calls I hear music
Is it just the way she loves to confuse me
Oh baby, oh
Just when I moved on
Believed that she was gone
She's back again, she's back (whoa)
She's back (whoa), she's back (whoa)
She's back (whoa), she's back (whoa)
She's back (whoa), she's back
[chorus]
Oh tell me why the hell I hear music
Every time she calls I hear music
Is it just the way she loves to confuse me
Oh baby, oh
Just when I moved on
Believed that she was gone
She's back, oh yeah
Every time she calls I hear music
Is it just the way she loves to confuse me
Oh baby, oh
Just when I moved on
Believed that she was gone
She's back again...
She's back again, she's back (whoa) (after all this time)
She's back (whoa), she's back (whoa)
She's back (whoa), she's back (after all this time)
She's back (please, please), she's back (whoa)
She's back

Happy Birthday, Fel
They say that a lengthy absence makes the heart grow fonder... I feel this is true, but the time spent apart hurts so bad, I'm afraid I may not be able to take it any longer... therefore I just wanna say it straight from my heart...

I MISS YOU.
Happy Birthday to you... may you excel in everything you do. I pray that all is well with you. Stay sweet and beautiful always. We want very badly to see you again, before the year comes to a close... :-(
Also... Happy Birthday to Eunice Olsen, as well as to Bobby Tonelli and Primero Ang.

Enough with the surgery rumors already!!

Happy Birthday to Naomi and Joanne Helix
Taken from MediaCorp Buzz section...
A remark made by local MediaCorp artiste Dasmond Koh, was recently taken out of context and blown out of proportions by the local media. In response to the accusations made against her, local MediaCorp actress Felicia Chin expressed thanks to her supportive fans under a blog entry titled ‘Thankful’. She shared her helpless feelings on this matter and reassured fans that she “will not be defeated and will stand stronger.”
In an interview, Felicia was forthright in her replies and felt that the plastic surgery issue has been harped on one too many times. “Everyone has an answer in their hearts. If you believe me, thank you. If you don’t believe me, then I am unable to control that either. I don’t have to prove anything to anybody, as long as you believe in me, it’s enough.”
The actress expressed knowledge and confirmed that she knew of Dasmond’s joking replies in his interview. However, she felt that it was outrageous for the reporter to take his words out of context. “Initially when I read the report, I felt a little emotional. Shortly after, Dasmond responded to the report and clarified that he was joking and that the surgery jobs were not real. After which, I feel that there wasn’t anything for me to be afraid of or hide from because what he said is not true.”
“I felt really helpless and upset because the report was not written from what was said. I have lost confidence in such reports. I find it even harder to judge between what is real and fake now,” she confided.
Felicia understands that it is inevitable for artistes to be plagued with such gossip, however she said, “It is hurtful to be criticized and to remain under the constant scrutiny and attention of others. At the end, we are still the ones who have to face these people.” Despite the hurt inflicted on her from this matter, the easy-going actress bears no grudges against Dasmond. “Since it has already happened, we should let it go. I will not be bitter over this, I will look forward.”
Her optimism and love for acting still clearly shows despite being jaded from this entire hullabaloo. The sense of satisfaction derived from acting and her fans’ endearing support are her two main sources of motivation.
As a fan-cum-friend of Felicia for more than 3 years, I am greatly peeved off by this news, the latest in a series of reports speculating on whether Fel had undergone plastic surgery. Seriously speaking, the rumors are getting boring and plain ridiculous, so much that they must come to an end. Felicia's appearance as Princess Cherry in an episode of "A Perfect Cut" is enough proof that she. did. not. go. for. plastic. surgery. at. all. And I also felt that the rumors on Joanne Peh getting boob enhancement, thought at a less controversial degree, are getting just as tasteless. It's not as if Felicia had done a boob job like what Jolin Tsai was rumored to have done, or even undergone a drastic head-to-toe transformation like what ermm, the late Michael Jackson had gone through, right? Is there anything wrong with a girl morphing from Plain Jane to a glamor puss? I feel for Fel cos I worry that if the situation doesn't improve, she may end up a paparazzi target like the late MJ, even though the media situation here is nowhere as hazardous as that in Hongkong or Taiwan (I wonder if that reporter who blew Dasmond's remark out of proportion with very little hint of mercy has any GONADS or not... I can only say that he is VERY WEIRD)
(Speaking about Felicia being hurt by Dasmond's remarks, it reminded me clearly of the time when my tongue went loose on that fateful night of April 28th last year, and that incident nearly made her cry, and hurt me even more. Took me nearly a month to recover from the trauma even though she had forgiven me... I shan't elaborate any further.)
That's the ugly reality of showbiz, there'll always be reporters who will either make you or break you, as long as you're a well-known personality. And the paparazzi who would try to make venomous reports by making a mountain out of a molehill on surgery rumors, paternity suits or child molest accusations (to name a few headline-grabbers) are the true abominations of the entertainment world they have been part of, obviously got nothing else better to do (chi bao mei shi zuo, you may say). It all boils down on how you can handle the pressure of fame, and how tactful you are at shooting back at their accusations, depending on the difficulty level of the questions. Not to forget how some celebs these days are obsessed with self-mutilation via plastic surgery or taking painkillers.
Thankfully for us Felicians, Felicia wasn't among those artistes who joined showbiz at a very young age (eg MJ, Donny Osmond) and got warped by fame when they reach adulthood... it's rather unlikely that the kind of Shakespearean tragedy which happened to some HK artistes (too many to name) or American singers (eg MJ, Elvis, Britney) would take its toll on Felicia, Joanne, or any other MDC celeb for that matter... I mean, look at the more seasoned artistes like Zoe and Michelle Chia... they're still standing strong after all these years, aren't they?
To quote a line from "Tabloid Junkie", a song written by the King of Pop himself (along with James Harris and Terry Lewis) for the 1995 studio album "HIStory"... "Just because you read it in a magazine, or see it on the TV screen, don't make it factual, actual... though everybody wants to read all about it."
To the reporters who still think that Felicia or any other artiste have undergone the knife, I have only this to say to you... you're so damn DISRESPECTABLE.

i-Phone 3GS launch at Comcenter
This happened yesterday... I was notified of this event via SMS early in the morning, but I still made a last minute decision to go for it anyway after knocking off from work at 6 pm. Actually, I went home first to take the big bag with digicam, PSP and magazines, before heading to Somerset via train.

Joanne, Felicia and Pierre were involved in this one, Glenn Ong was the host. Way too many people queuing up xiah, even though there were a few cute gals around (so xiao-mei-mei one!!). The first person to get his i-phone 3GS was a guy named Jackson Low, he was actually the second guy to get the Apple 3G phone at same place last year. Layout for the stage wasn't very good IMO. Moreover, there was too much confetti being wasted, and it was quite cumbersome. Us fans thought it wise by taking taxis to Radiogate to wait for them instead. The vans eventually returned sometime before 9 pm.

Only Felicia came out at about 9.15 pm and mingled with us for about half an hour... but no sign of Joanne even after 10 pm :-(((. Feeling disheartened, al of us decided to go back home... no point staying at Rg for too long anyway.
For full photos, go here.

Razzle Dazzle with MDC stars
It was a really good thing that I did morning shift today, otherwise I would have totally missed out on this roadshow at Chinatown Point. Even the late arrival of the direct bus from my workplace to People’s Park Complex wasn’t enough to cause any delay to my primary objective. Once I reached there at about 1:45 pm, I had a quick lunch and proceeded to stand somewhere behind the Felicians.
The event started at 2 pm as stated in the poster, magazines and newspapers (man, I am so gonna poke the waist of that joker who nearly relayed the wrong info in regards to the timing!! Take that, Miss A... muahaha!). Pornsak was the host, the celebs involved were Felicia and Dai Yang Tian.
2 games were played during the roadshow; a Felician (hehe, the poor meimei) and a DYT fanclub member played the first game of answering questions and then choosing a picture and pasting it next to the correct brand to win some cash. Poor Hui Si meimei won lesser money, but at least she got vouchers :-)
Before the 2nd game, the 200-strong audience was treated to a song by Felicia. Wonder how come DYT didn't get to sing eh... maybe he'll get his chance next time.
That weirdo known as Mr Hao Lian (the one who always wear formal clothes and tucks in his shirt, and obsessed over Jacky Cheung and WWE) got his "5 minutes of fame" once more when he was selected to go on stage to compete against a humble, down-to-earth lady in the second game of jigsaw puzzle. Lionel thought he could complete the puzzle by his own effort and without Yangyang's help, but boy was he so dead wrong!! The lunatic ended up the sore loser (HUOGAI!!), yet he still carried on with his puzzle in typical kan cheong and stubborn style, wasting a lot of time in the process (about 2 to 3 minutes I believe)... and even tried to ask Pornsak to give him his prize!! Really "throw away face" one!! -__-"
After that, we boarded separate taxis (Syaz, Hoetian and myself in the same cab) to Radiogate to wait for Felicia under the unbearable heatwave. PWe bore witness to Hui Si getting near-raped for no reason, maybe she too innocent. Felicia came out at about 3:40 pm, while Pornsak and DYT drove off in a black car driven by Pornsak. Then at about 3:55 pm, something rather disturbing happened during this time, involving a mother and her 2 young daughters whose motives seem very questionable... they hugged her many times (LOLLL), tried to ask for her number (diaos) and even tried to chase after her in their own car (Super WTF!!!). The three of them also very "don't want face" type, sheesh. Even after Fel drove off at 4:35 pm, the fans stayed behind a little longer for a long discussion. I left Rg at about 5 pm.
On my way out to the main road, I encountered that cat who resides along Lornie Road, obviously I stopped by to stroke him a few times. :-)
Later on when I was about to reach home (and after having a chat with a friend who was passing by), I bumped into Visuel, she did the same old horny thing by walking around my legs again! I then gave her a ‘killer stroke’ across the back in return, heh. She got rather tired of my constant stroking, so I let her play on the grass.
