The Power Rangers Wild Force series had been showing on Kids Central every weekday... it's one of my fave Power Rangers series, one that I truly followed (it's the zords that attract me). U can call me childish all u want, but I actually like shows that feature animals. I even collect the palstic model toys related to them!! And hence I decided to create an entry on the pictures of the various Wild Force Zords featured in the show... :-)

This Roy Orbison hit, used in the 1990 romantic comedy box office hit "Pretty Woman", was performed by Matthew and the Mandarins as well as Paul, Joakim, Jay and Norman during the 2nd recording for "Wish Upon A Star" last Tuesday night. I personally dedicate this song to the 3 girls on the cover of the new 8 days issue, as well as to a girl present at the recording... someone whom I had first met abt 3 mths ago, and someone whom I haf some sort of fond interest in... and yes, she's a Singapore Idol fan like me (not from the same fanclub btw). Kai Leng should know this girl quite well ;-)

I'm halfway thru a 2D animation mini-project on a dancing figure... and I used a Singapore idol finalist as a template for the figure (hint: long hair, bangles and eyeliner) :-)
I'm feeling kinda emotional these days... no, I am not depressed at all... lately I've been ridiculed by a few of my classmates for no reason (is it bcos of my age, or bcos of my race? U decide)... kinda reminds me of the days when I was being bullied in primary school... only this time, the ones who are poking fun at me are much younger. Ironic isnt it?
It also doesnt help that I had been called up for work at the very last minute yesterday... I was so unhappy and hurt I had to dig deep into my emotions and break down after I was done wif work. To think that for the first time in my 10 months at Mos Burger, I had to force a smile and remain in a bad mood for most of the day. It took an ebi rice burger to cheer me up and put a stop to my 'depression'... for the time being.
I dont know why, but I cant seem to stop thinking abt this gal... if you've been thru crushes, u know what I mean. my feelings for her are not exactly strong... but everytime I see her, I feel weak inside, and I dont know what to say to her. She's a very sweet and adorable gal indeed... she's a few years younger than me btw. I want to know her better, but I seem to lack the confidence to make the first move. That's probably why I haf zilch experience in boy-girl relationships (Im not kidding)... u can say I got 'inferior complex'. Or maybe Im doomed to live through a burden of an unrequited love (something I've gone thru way too many times).
Oh, and another thing... my uncle would haf turned 65 yesterday if he were still around today. It's been more than a year since his passing, and u can say Im taking it quite well, and he'll live on in our memories. Sad to say, time is not on our side... there are some things beyond our control.

Star Awards roadshow at Compass Point

The celebs present at the very last Star Awards roadshow at Compass Point were Terence Cao, Chen Hanwei, Jeanette Aw, Yvonne Lim and Kelvin Tan Wei Lian. Terence really looks nowhere near 39... Jeanette is actually very pretty (even without her cutesy voice)... Han Wei still looked good even tho he was down wif flu (thanks to peiling for this info)... Yvonne looked great wif her long moplike hairdo, but is in danger of looking like Nicole Richie (or maybe she's jsut slim)... Kelvin managed to wow us wif his singing and guitar playing in spite of his obvious handicap. Truth be told, I can't think of anything else to say here, so I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Hady's music video is out!

Hady Mirza's music video for "You Give Me Wings" debuted a few days ago, and it was shown again last night after the last episode of "Charmed"... it's too similar to Taufik's "All Because Of You" in terms of family themes... it's not very inspiring, even tho it's more decent than Taufik's "I Dream". Oh, and did i forget to mention that hot babe Ase Wang is in it??? :-p

Loads of crap and confessions

Wah piang eh, this is terrible... the computer I was using for 2D animation kept breaking down for no reason... and the worst part was, I forgot to save the Project file into my thumb drive before that!! DOH!!! Very good job u did, Tanat. And Mr Leong was very angry wif the class' overall attendance... esp wif those who come to school FREAKING LATE. He said that if he doesn't see half the class by 9 pm every Thurs and Fri morning, he would haf no choice but to cancel the lesson.
I think I know for sure which of my classmates are going to get expelled very very soon... so far I can only mention Miss N and Miss I, who had been constantly going MIA and alienating themselves from majority of the class in the process.
I do enjoy, and haf no regrets whatsoever, studying Digital Media Design, but given the current situation regarding the poor discipline system, I wonder if Im really wasting my time in the school. No wonder Mr S and Miss Z decided not to continue schooling anymore.
I've been a little troubled as of late... it's not a very easy decision to make, but I am going to quit my role as moderator for a certain forum sometime next month... mostly due to the fact that my passion for that particular franchise has totally died (no, it's NOT Singapore Idol, in case you're wondering; my passion for the Final 12 won't ever wither away so easily). I won't turn against the 8 contestants there (I don't harbour any ill feelings against them at all)... I will still continue to supprot them and defend them as much as I can. Another logic reason why I'm quitting is that the franchise isn't as highly anticipated or successful as Singapore Idol or Project Superstar. Stay tuned for the revelation coming up by December 20th...

Muahaha... Idol Mania is here again!! All 12 finalists reunited!! :-)
Finally... I haf enough time to complete this entry!!!
It was great to meet up wif the families of Gayle, Paul, Jasmine and Nurul... as well as fellow SI fans like Gerald, Kendrick, Jeremy, Joshua, Sharifah, Idah, Zahirah, Farhan, Calvin, Wei Ming, Anthony, Kai Leng, Crystal, Fauzi, Firdaus... as well as make new friends with Edmund, Carol and Sharon. Oh, and I finally got to meet up wif Gayle fans Nazri, Azril and Farhan Madden... at the restroom??? Oh ya, not to forget that I met Hafiz at the reception area upon arrival... turns out he's signing a contract for the upcoming "Dance Floor"!! :-O
The show was hosted by good ol' Gurmit Singh (who looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin wif new baldplate) as well as Hady and Jon. There were indeed plenty of guest appearances for the show... I won't reveal some names (or maybe I should; hence I decided to highlight their names in light grey).
Oh, and Mr XXX cracked up the audience with his wicked sense of humor... EVEN DOING A BELLY DANCE A FEW TIMES (it was as gross as the Boogeyman)!!! Very funny xiah... but kinda disgusting. A lot of people (including yours truly) covered their faces... I nearly threw up.
