Muahaha... Idol Mania is here again!! All 12 finalists reunited!! :-)
Finally... I haf enough time to complete this entry!!!
It was great to meet up wif the families of Gayle, Paul, Jasmine and Nurul... as well as fellow SI fans like Gerald, Kendrick, Jeremy, Joshua, Sharifah, Idah, Zahirah, Farhan, Calvin, Wei Ming, Anthony, Kai Leng, Crystal, Fauzi, Firdaus... as well as make new friends with Edmund, Carol and Sharon. Oh, and I finally got to meet up wif Gayle fans Nazri, Azril and Farhan Madden... at the restroom??? Oh ya, not to forget that I met Hafiz at the reception area upon arrival... turns out he's signing a contract for the upcoming "Dance Floor"!! :-O
The show was hosted by good ol' Gurmit Singh (who looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin wif new baldplate) as well as Hady and Jon. There were indeed plenty of guest appearances for the show... I won't reveal some names (or maybe I should; hence I decided to highlight their names in light grey).
Oh, and Mr XXX cracked up the audience with his wicked sense of humor... EVEN DOING A BELLY DANCE A FEW TIMES (it was as gross as the Boogeyman)!!! Very funny xiah... but kinda disgusting. A lot of people (including yours truly) covered their faces... I nearly threw up.

November 20th

1930 hrs recording

1. Hady Mirza and his fave celeb sang "Something Stupid" (hint: the Channel 8 actress, who made her comeback to Mediacorp following the merger, was shown briefly during the Final 5 Spectacular show, and she is a Best Actress nominee for her role in "Love Concierge" in this year's Star Awards) Ok ok it's none other than Ann Kok
2. The Thunderbirds sang "La Bamba" with Joakim, Jay, Norman and Paul... then they performed another song with Hady and Jon
3. A veteran singer (forgot his name) sang a song wif Hady and Jon
4. Ok this one I haf to reveal... TAUFIK WAS IN THE HOUSE!!! He sang "All Because Of You" wif Gayle, Emilee, Rahimah, Mathilda, Nurul and Jasmine

1. Veteran singer Ann Hussein sang wif Hady and Jon
2. Paul danced with a very cute (and HOT!!!) Channel 8 actress, Emilee danced wif a former S'pore Idol semi-finalist-turned-full time actor (ok ok it's Nathaniel Ho), Nurul danced with a certain actor (forgot his name), Gayle danced with a Project Superstar finalist (Jason Tan), and Joakim danced with a Miss Singapore Universe 2006 finalist
3. Jon, Hady, Mathilda, Norman and Jay sang a George Harrison song
4. Olinda Cho was in the house, singing "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" with Hady (ooooh... Taufik must be jealous now, haha)

AARON AZIZ ARRIVED SOON AFTER!!!

Me and the very handsome Aaron Aziz, aka Sgt Jamal from Heartlanders!! (yes yes, he's the guy who sang wif Jasmine)

A certain girl was present for the first recording, but we all avoided her completely... giving her the cold shoulder as she entered the theater... and later laughing away in truimph as she and her friends left the place after the first recording, due to the lack of tickets for the next recording. We don't wish to have anything to do wif her anymore... but then I better be extra careful wif those 2 civil defence lance corporals whose support for Jasmine seemed to be going overboard...
