X-Men Days Of future Past film informatics Part 19B: Blink and Sunspot

The following mutants will be involved with the remnant of the Mutant Resistance of the Future X-Men, in a world regulated by Sentinels and oppressive to Mutantkind. They assist the original X-Men in the battle against the Sentinels in the year 2023.


Clarice Ferguson aka Blink
Blink’s dimension warping powers – the ability to teleport people and objects - make her a vital member of the X-Men. But with mutant existence at stake, she won’t be able to keep them safe for much longer.
Blink's primary power is Molecular Spatial Displacement, the ability to displace matter through a type of teleportation rift, appearing as blinking holes, enabling her to move an object or people various distances and displace matter out of sync with reality. She also has the ability to manifest the energy for her portals in the form of short javelins, which she could throw at an object to cause it to teleport. She uses this ability both offensively and defensively. Also, she can send targets to multiple locations at once. At times she has teleported portions of objects.

 
Roberto DaCosta aka Sunspot
A new member of the resistance, Sunspot has the power to absorb solar energy and rechannel it for superhuman strength, flight and infrared radiation. 
Sunspot has the ability to absorb solar energy and can utilize it for physical strength. He is also able to project heat in intense waves, and re-channel the solar energy which his body absorbs, by which he takes the solar energy and uses it for a variety of related purposes. When Sunspot's cells are powered by solar energy he has the superhuman ability to augment his physical strength. The original limits of his strength was that of 25 tons; since then however his strength has increased to 50 tons. As is the norm with most pyrokinetics, Sunspot is immune to all forms of Heat and Fire, as they simply add to his abilities and his mutant metabolism is able to simply convert these two forms and augment his abilities. This includes heat powers that are directed at him, as well as heat that is present because of weather conditions. Sunspot has also been seen with the ability to absorb the energy that fire gives off, and has remained unharmed while walking through it. He can absorb sunlight even at night if there is a moon, as moonlight is nothing but refracted sunlight.
