HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Yong Qing and Olivia

Quite a dull start... only 3 of us Vincent fans (sorry, but I chose not to reveal the names of the other 2) were present at Marine Parade Block 89. Marcus Chin and Vincent were among the few guests present for the grand opening of the Fortune Foodcourt and LFI Wellness Sanctuary. Vin spent abt half an hour in the newly opened foodcourt, then he and the other guests went up to the Wellness center located at the 2nd level, spending an hour there. I got kinda attracted to a female VIP in pink dress, she still looked chioh even at 40-something... oh, and she got quite a good figure too!!! (My mum later told me that she saw Marcus hosting some S-Pop Hurray event at Plaza Singapura at around 1.30 pm, which explains his quick disapperance after the ribbon-cutting). Vin then drove off at abt 1315 hrs, but not before wishing the 3 of us 'Happy New Year'. Although we were saddened by the fact that we couldnt take pic wif him, at least he got to see us (i mean, it would be strange if he didnt notice us at all, rite?). But then agin... I was more disappointed by another thing (way too obvious)...

As the other 2 left for lunch elsewhere, I took a bus to Eunos, and took a train to Bugis... had lunch at Bugis Junction and watched a movie there...

The one titled "Jumper". Yes, the action film starring Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Jamie Bell and Samuel L Jackson. A little lower than my expectations (plot and character depth not very strong), but still quite worth the watch (my biggest complaint is... the film is way too short at only 85 minutes!!!). I personally think that this film is many times better than "Ah Long Pte Ltd" (which I am so not gonna watch at all, not even in DVD). I thought it would be cooler if 'Mace Windu' (Jackson) and 'Anakin' (Christensen) as well as Jamie Bell wielded lightsabers for this show while 'jumping'... haha, kidding!! I know Im too much of a Star Wars geek. :-p Right after the film ended, I went back to the Kovan heartlands to join my parents for dinner.

And obviously, I chose not to go for the Chingay Parade at the City Hall region. Would rather spend more time with my parents and concentrate in updating my blog, like what I'm doing now. :-p

Right after another dreadful day in school yesterday, I had to make a very mad rush to Expo!!And I reached the place at around 1325 hrs, sitting next to Kailin and Xueting at the front row seats. If only I were a Jumper, then I would be able to teleport great distances, even from Hougang to Orchard.

But doesnt matter anyway, cos I still managed to take lots of pics of the handsome martial arts expert. Abt 10 people went on stage to try beating Vincent's skiprope score of 35 skips. Only 3 managed to do so, with one of them hitting 40!!

After the segment ended, I took pic wif Vincent... I managed to tell him that I won't be able to watch the play he's involved in, but he said that's ok; all that mattered is that he's grateful for me turning up at Expo Hall 6B to support him.

And moments later, I took pic wif 'Felicia'... wanna know how? By posing with Fel's Vitagen poster!! Hahaha, GOTCHA!! What were you thinking? :-p

After Vin left, I went to have lunch at BK wif the tall guy Melvin... as soon as I was done eating, I headed back home, dumped my uniform into the green laundry basket, changed to outdoor clothes and embarked on another dreadful day at work.

Tay Ping Hui (games & activities) 1100 to 1200 hrs
Definitely going… even if I hate his character in the recently concluded “The Golden Path”. His acting is improving gradually… hopefully he’ll win Best Actor this year.

Yesterday was probably the worst day to date... IT WAS RAINING NON-STOP FROM MORNING TIL EVENING. And worse of all, I forgot to bring my umbrella. (DOHHHH!!!!) Yet by some strange luck, my uniform dried up less than an hour after I reached the project lab. Mr Kelvin slapped down a list of the students who are in danger of getting expelled... out of 19 students present (minus the trio who are on attachment in Canada, which I would NEVER go to even for internship), ONLY 3 are 100% safe (guess who?). All the rest got marked for having less than 85% for at least one subject. And out of the 'marked' few, still got a few kena red marked for ALL FOUR SUBJECTS. I shant mention any names... once again i say, you are responsible for your own actions. Nobody can help you if you can't help yourself.
And Im still struggling with the idea for the 1-minute video. Still not sure if I should even continue studying in such an environment where the overall attendace is extremely horrible; I'd be lying if I said I am not feeling disillusioned abt the current situation.
Yet somehow the rain stopped for good after Mum and Wendy reached home. Wendy (Ah Meow!) will be going off to the States very soon... I will miss SMSing her abt Fiona and imitating her bimbotic mannerisms for the next few months. :-(


Speaking about bimbos and cute gals, I was greatly weakened last night after watching "The Princesses and the Dude", cos the 4th guest was none other than the superbly adorable, bubbly and sweet-as-sugar Dawn Yeoh!! Given her fetish for all things pink and Hello Kitty, I think I better prepare some Hello Kitty toys (small ones that is, NOT the McDonald's couple toys) to give to sweet Dawn for Christmas!! :-p

Ah yes later on at 2230 hrs, I must remember to watch the finale of "Tab TV"... been missing way too many episodes liao. It was the very episode that features us Vincent and Zoe fans, recorded in an eerie-looking studio on the 9th of May. After more than 6 mths of waiting, the episode is finally here, and I never thought it would be filmed on Vincent's birthday itself! Man I so can't wait to see him again in the near future... :-)

Here are the pics I took outside of CHIJMES and iniside on Monday morning (for the quadraple wedding ceremony for the last episode of "Bao Jia Wei Guo")... ermmm, Im real sorry for missing out on Wen Yong and Hui Fang btw, cos while the extras were allowed to take pictures during actual filming (flash function had to be off btw), we had to keep the pic snapping to a minumum in order to let things run smoothly with few cuts.
