Whoa shoot, tomorrow is the big day!!!

Finally found that super-large 8 days issue which I thought I had lost... and I'm never ever gonna lose it again!! The issue containing Nat, Elvin, Jonathan, Jesseca, Fiona, Jade, etc...

And on a personal note, I like my blog the way it is... and I DON'T need people like YOU to suggest that I get a better template to become like Perez Hilton (whoever he is) or even Wendy Cheng, that is why I had to delete YOUR comment from the previous post. But thanks for the suggestion anyway... and I must remind YOU that I still dislike people who MIA from school frequently and behave like monkeys...

Anyway... right after knocking off from work at 1730 hrs, I went to PS to have dinner with Ryan and Karen... then we got a lift from a very nice lady named Cass to the Sinema Old School (located along Mount Sophia)... the moment we got to the ticketing booth located at the main Sinema store, I was mesmerized by a mei nu (cute and petite!) who works there... and later my knees got weakened upon seeing yet another mei nu... before us NATurals headed upstairs to watch "Smell of Rain" yesterday. And to think I actually shouted out "MEI NU" to that sweetie who works at Sinema!! :-X



My thoughts about the movie ah? I have to admit that it is quite dull... very slow-paced, not much dialogue, but there is an amazing range of scenery shots. Most of the time, the 3 main leads (Nat, Troy and Li Er) would be staring at each other and not saying much. Nat Ho (the main reson for watching this film) plays a hearing-impaired guy named Xiao Qu who, ironically, works in a guitar store. His best friend is a slacker named Kong Long who does nothing but lie on the chair and watch Korean shows all day long. Xiao Qu had been suffering from insomnia due to a childhood trauma he suffered (his mum abandoned him to be with her lover), a trauma which stunts his emotions and prevents him from opening his heart to a girl he likes, a very skinny gal named Li Er. who is often beaten up by her abusive boyfriend. Thus Xiao Qu relates to the smell of rain as recalling a painful childhood memory. There is an interesting twist towards the end of the film regarding one of the leads... watch the film to find out for yourself. I rate this film 3 out of 5 stars... it may be dull and slow in pace, but there is some hidden meaning behind the story.


There was a rather long QnA session right after the film ended, and Nat still isn't around!! The director explained to us what inspired her to write this film, the various setbacks she got during production, and other stuff. After all the questions had been answered, we found out that Nat finished filming very late (curse the producers!!) and thus couldnt make it to Sinema on time (arghhhh!!), but there came a better solution to make up for it... us Naturals get to go to Mediacorp to meet up with Nat and tell him about the movie.


Before we left the place, we took pictures with the lead actress Li Er (who looks a bit like Dawn Yeoh don't you think?), and I joked that she should eat more and gain some weight. Her figure really too much like Stefanie Sun, but this Li Er is a really sweet and gentle gal.


So the 16 of us reached RG at abt 2330 hrs... we chatted wif Nat (who apologized profusely for not appearing for the screening), got his autograph on our magazines, took individual pics wif him, and then gathered for a group photo. All ends well... at least we all got what we wanted, in a different way. :-)



Oh ya, do buy May's edition of Teens, Nat is on the cover!! :-)

Meaning of my birthday

I recently participated in some Horscope function on Facebook, and this is the result I got... about 70% accurate I must say (regarding my mindset towards certain things in life).

(Whoa, that's a hell lotta people in 2 days!!)

Just yesterday (exactly one week at ABS), I discovered with some help of Huixian and a few more mei nus that there is a pasta shop at another building!! That's it, the Palpatine lookalike is gonna answer for this (haha, kidding only). But then again, the gourmet food court at the basement of the usual building I go to more often has a wider range of food... still, it was good to have lunch with 7 gals (3 of them being 'xiao meimeis') at a certain pasta restaurant, even if i didnt talk much. Oh ya, i also found out that there are 5 buses that go to my workplace from Harborfront terminal. And I do enjoy scanning documents, it's nowhere as stressful as my other job at Shaw House. Stay tuned for a future post regarding the comparisons between my old job and current one (I know it sounds based, but I have to do it).

I seriously can't wait to watch "Smell of Rain" at some Sinema Old School located near Dhoby Ghaut station tomorrow... Nat Ho will be there!! I got stuff for him to sign, muahaha... :-p

But then I decided not to go for the Youth Eco Concert which is to be held at Ngee Ann City (a place I haven't been to for some time) this Saturday, although i would most certainly like to (admission is free of charge). Mostly cos my dad is coming back at night, and I am going to fetch him from the airport... and yes I feel that family is much more important than rooting for fave stars. Hence rooting for Daren (not a main fave btw) can wait another day... too bad I won't be able to see Hady or Kelly again... but I'm totally ok wif it, really.

Oh, but I'm most certainly going to see Elvin at People's Park Complex this Saturday afternoon... regardin some ASA Holidays Agency. Right before heading off to Changi Airport that is.

And if that scarlett-haired bittergourd's (hairdye changed from orange to red now) lying, cheating n backstabbing ways aren't enough to set my heart burning wif anger, then perhaps the ones who really lit up the burning rage within me are a few ungrateful Joanne fans who dare to point fingers at the commitee members and 'blame them for cheating them off their money', even slamming them mercilessly in the forums. WHAT THE HELL!!!

To the few 'so-called' fans of Jollity fanclub who weren't too happy abt the gathering on Sunday, CAN YOU PLEASE GO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOURSELVES IN THE MIRROR, AND SHUT THE FUCKING HELL UP!!! If you're not happy about it, why did you even go for the gatehring in first place??? It's not as if the committee members pointed a gun to your head. Do you even think that gatherings are free of charge??? IN YOUR FREAKING DREAMS!!! Fancy you, unworthy Jopeh fans, to go gaga over your fave actress and take picture with her very happily, when you don't appreciate the efforts of the committee who worked so hard to make this gathering possible!!!

To the ungrateful Jollity fans, please stop this kau beh kau bu nonsense already, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Once I found out your real identities, I will most certainly hunt down each and every single one of you fuckers, and then to proceed to KILL YOU!!! So if you're not happy with that and you want some, THEN COME GET SOME!!!

I rushed to Mediacorp by taxi right after another dull day at work... and realized that the taxi ride was damn fast; I reached the place at 6 pm leh!! So next time I guess I'm taking a bus there... Eric was already at the taxi foyer, then Liping and her friend came at around 1845 hrs. Nearly wanted to grill Liping at the waist for the near lateness (and also bcos she looks more attarctive than before), but never mind... we headed to the theater and got seated at the same spot where me and Eric sat. There I saw the usual gang (88, 90, Weiting, Rah Rah, Ryan, Grace, Melissa, Cheryn, etc) and also Kendrick... same goes for Terence, Melvin, Paul and the usual 'Paparazzzi'... plus that Mr LJ whose BO (as well as weird behaviour and fugly face) is putting many people off.



A tingling sensation came ringing in my head for a while... and it soon disappeared when we found out that the guest judge for the 3rd episode is Yvonne Lim... heng ahhhh!! There were many new faces for the panel of 50 Beauties, I could only recognise Teresa Tseng among the babes. I knew that Regine couldnt attend sdue to exams, but I didnt see Nicole either... haiz :-(

Anyway, I actually took some pictures during the show (photography is allowed, just that flash is not permitted)... Icaru truly conquered this episode, topping the charts for 1st and 3rd rounds. 2nd round went to Jianfeng. This was what the guys did for the 2nd round (performance)...

And the end result for Mr Cool Guy is pretty obvious... the winner is none other than Icaru!!


After the show, I got Fiona's signature, and Eric managed to take picture with her... I missed out on the chance cos she had to be escorted to backstage... a bit bummed out, but I knew my chance would come another time (wink wink).

First thing I did was rush to the reception area and wait for Eunice Olsen, get her autograph on the latest 8 days issue (where she graced the cover of course), and take picture with her again. Mission accomplished, muahaha!!


At 2115 hrs, Averil came out, and I soon remembered that her birthday is on the approach as well... thinking about what to buy for her.


At 2120 hrs, came a really big dose of surprise... Fiona came out from reception area??? Thats like, very rare lor!! But yeah, I managed to take picture with her, just before she got escorted out... indeed 'the other time' came at the fastest time possible :-p


The guys and gals of "U Are The One" came out in one shot at 2230 hrs, and the 'paparazzi' (most particularly Paul, who leaped as fast as Master Yoda) went all over the place!! And I suspect that Mr LJ (whose BO is overwhelming) is trying to 'get fresh with me'??? So is he straight or is he gay??? :-s

First off was Germaine. Damn, she looks a lot like Joanna in this pic. I may be ok with her, but I seriously hope that her fans don't go shooting webs again...



Up next was Qiuting, looking like a Chinese national. Sigh, when will she let her hair down? She still cute as usual

After last week's failed attempt, I managed to take picture with Shi Qian. A minute later, she and Shi Ying took off, after an extremely unpleasant encounter with that super stinkbomb Mr LJ. EEEEWWWWW....!!! :-s


Me with Christalle... the moment I told her that she looks like Jeanette Aw, her eyes widened with surprise and she said, "Really??? You think so??" Haha, very cute xiah!! Her reaction upon hearing that compliment reminds me too much of Mo Jingjing!! :-p


Last but not least, I took picture with Mr Cool Guy himself, Icaru Yuan.


Once again, I found it hard to take pic wif Clement due to the ensuing chaos stemming mostly from the 'paparazzi'. Not that I can blame Terence or Melvin... no sign of Zhenhuan. Where did he go? The others (namely Jianfeng, Rachelle, Mable, etc) zoomed off too quickly.

Still I managed to reach home before 12 am, and fell into a deep sleep... awaiting the upcoming Miss Sweety round that is to come next Monday... as well as my birthday that is to come...

Today was a really high day. Firstly Sunday service from 9 to 10.30 am, where I manned the camera for the first time. Then I took a long train ride to Bedok to meet up with the Jolliteers. I reached the bus interchange a little late, but that doesnt matter. Then we headed to some cafe (similar to the one at Clarke Quay region for last year's Nat gathering) for an advanced birthday gathering involving...


Who else but Miss Elegant herself, Joanne Peh!!

We played some really interesting games... games like "Pass Da Bomb", "Guesstures" and some telematch involving 2 games based on puzzles. There was free flow of food and drinks throughout the gathering, much like the one involving Nat. My team lost due to lowest score, and we had to do different types of forfeits (I ran around the cafe acting as Liang Po Po!!).



Then at abt 2 pm, we gathered at another region to sing a birthday song for Joanne... then comes group photo and individual photo-taking. How I wish I were CJ-7... haha, kidding!! Many many thanks to Rina, Delphine, Teddi and Vivien for their efforts in making this gathering possible!! :-)



The party ended at 1440 hrs, then we followed Jopeh to the carpark and we bade her farewell as she drove off to Mediacorp (i think). Then I did the unthinkable... I did something that made Delphine malu!! Somehow I felt remorseful after that, but seriously speaking, I really think she's a mei nu. Anyway, me and a few fans took train towards West Coast... but of course I dropped off at City Hall, just so I can go to Raffles Convention Centre! I was surprised to see Terence, Melvin, Paul and the usual bunch at the central lobby located at the 4th level. We waited for more than an hour... then by 5 pm, anyone can go into the main reception region liao. But wah kau, guys and gals coming into the place in shorts and slippers??? SO UNGLAM!!! @_@



Anyway, by about 1730 hrs, the guests inside the Padang/Collyer halls came out in one shot... and yep, I took picture with the mei nus I'm most familiar with...

But no sign of her leh... either she exited from another path or disappeared when me and the other guys were taking pictures with the other babes. Although I never got the chance to see Andrea again (for today at least), at least I'm satisfied enough to accomplish 4 of the 5 main 'mei nu objectives' right after the Glamour Bash event. :-)

Gosh, Im feeling too high already, I think I'm gonna lose A LOT of sleep!! Must have been partly due to the heavy dinner I had at Bugis Junction before heading home... or maybe it's because I'm too excited over the soon-to-come "U Are the One" recording tomorrow... :-p

Oh, and the "We Will Rock You" musical which I watched yesterday absolutely ROCKS to the core!!!

New temp job, and gonna watch a musical

My new job at some company named ABS, located somewhere at the West Coast, is rather slack and dull, but still manageable. As a technical clerk working every weekday from 9 to 5 , I have to scan documents linked to shipyard and maritime structures, and then file them up... can be up to 1000 drawings at one go. Either I would do it on the 8th floor or the 10th floor. There were a few mei nus at the workplace, I got good rapport with a certain Huixian (tall beautiful gal) and Priscilla (tall also, quite cute too). And there's also a girl named Grace who looks a lot like Kenneth Soh!! Ok, I shall not dwell too much into details on the company whatsoever.

Later today I am gonna watch a musical with my mum at the Esplanade... "We Will Rock You", based on songs by the rock band Queen. Can't wait to be rocked! :-)

About to embark on new job

Finally... I got a job at some place located along River Valley... the wait is over. But this also means I have to spend less time with the computer for the next few weeks. At least better than nothing, right?

Alas, Rui En is finally featured on i-weekly after a freaking long period of absence... and she's on the cover alongside Cheng Xi (whose twin brother is a contestant in "U Are The One").

Heck, Jia Xi is also included inside... and so are Princesses Jesseca, Joanne and Dawn (regarding an upcoming drama on 3 friends who share a passion for volleyball).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Fiona and Chin Choo


Man I tell you, the Mediacorp theater was getting damn warm in spite of the aircon, cos all 8 gals were simply TOO HAWT!!! I certainly enjoyed this episode more than the first one, for obvious reasons. There were a lot of whistling sounds and cheering from the guys and gals alike for this show. But then there are very few recognizable faces in the 50 male judging panel (unlike last week's panel of babes). In attendance for the show were Kai Leng, Kailin, Xueting, Ryan and so on... for the other side, there were Melvin, Terence, Paul, Lei Jun and another guy who resembles the wrestler nicknamed Super Crazy. I was shocked by how skinny Dr Georgina Lee was... those bony arms and legs could break any moment now. Even the lanky Mark Lee looks so much fitter than her lor. Well ok, maybe I'll take back what I said about Eunice and Qiuting being rather skinny.

Qiuting, who danced to the salsa, clearly had the biggest number of supporters... the fanclubs for both Shi Qian and Shi Ying are probably the same (with one of them dancing to PCDs' "Buttons"... Rachelle sizzled in the performance segment, doing a poledance to Britney Spears' "Gimme More". Christabel looked a bit like Jeanette Aw (with a hotter body that is), sweet-faced Mable did a Marilyn Monroe-like item, Liang Yi sang some Chinese song (with that super strong China accent) and Germaine did a belly dance to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie". The results this time round were way too unpredictable... first round was won by Mable, second round by Qiuting and third round by Germaine. In the end, Germaine won the overall round. WHAT???

And if there's one thing I totally cannot tahan, it's gotta be the Germaine fans spraying some colorful web fluid during the show!! I mean please lor, the camera isn't even gonna film the web fluid coming out, and you guys have to annoy the fans in front by spraying the fluid all over. Don't you ever think of how troublesome it will be for the cleaners to clear up the mess after everyone has left the theater? It's even more shameful to see some litter at the left side of the seats.

Ok picture time!! As soon as I reached the reception area, the first person to come out was the beautiful Eunice Olsen... and yes, I like this hairstyle and attire more than last week's one. :-)


Next person at 2140 hrs was good ol' New Yi Qing... oh boy, I lost count on the number of times I took picture wif him...


For the next few minutes, I chatted with Lei Jun on WWE superstars and also showed the other guys pictures I had taken with various artistes. The contestants finally came out at 11 pm... at one shot!!

Germaine actually came out first, but I snubbed her completely. Instead I went up to sweet-faced Mable.


When Qiuting saw me, she rushed up and held my hand, saying 'Eh, long time never see you leh"... my mouth just opened and my knees soon wobbled!! Wonder how I would react if Felicia were the one touching me instead!! Suddenly I could feel some 'smoke' coming off my neck when Qiuting did that. :-O


Next up was Rachelle aka Rabbit Gal. She's also another cutie.


I initially wanted to take picture with Shi Qian and Shi Ying, but they had to rush off very quickly. Well, at least I got their autographs. I went on to take picture with Liang Yi (though I don't really like her).


Some of the guys came out, ad to my amazement, I got the signatures of all the contestants on the 8 days issue featuring Fiona!! First up was Zhenhuan, whom I thought looked a bit like Jerry Yen.


Next up was Icaru Yuan.


Then I took picture with the hot babe Christabel.


And last but not least, I took picture with the super cool Louis Fong.


Immediately after I took pic wif Louis, the security guard asked everyone to leave the place in about 5 minutes time (time of departure was at 2335 hrs). Then i took a long bus journey back home...

For next few days, I may not be able to post much, cos I'm gonna start work tomorrow.

And Lei Jun, if you're ever gonna pester me on describing people with uglier faces than yours, or ask me how to pronounce the names of the female contestants, or insult my circle of friends, I swear I WILL give you a Superkick to that acne-infested face of yours!!! And it will be FOR REAL!!!!
