Why oh why do tragedies have to happen when we least expect it??? Just as we are coming to terms wif U-Nee's sudden passing last week, another Asian celeb had left us... Taiwanese actress Hsu Wei Lun.Taken from Wikipedia: Xu Wei Lun was involved in a fatal accident on the Taichung stretch of Taiwan's National Highway No. 1 at 2315 hrs last Friday (26th Jan 2007) while travelling with her assistant to Nantou for the filming of Tai Yang De Nu Er. Her car hit the barrier on the highway and was then rear-ended by a truck. The passenger side air bag failed to deploy (airbags are not designed to deploy in rear impact collision) and she wasn't wearing her seat belt. Contrary to witness' testimony, her assistant denied being the driver at the time of the accident. Despite 43 hours of emergency treatment, she passed away on January 28, 2007 at 1937 hrs local time.
Very hard to believe that a sweet, friendly, beautiful and kind-hearted girl is suddenly gone, when she has so much more to offer. This goes to show how unpredictable life can be. Due to the fact that Im not exactly a fan of hers, I haf only this to say: may the Good Lord bless her soul and continue to watch over her family :,-(
