Hound is a technical specialist and highly experienced, gutsy Autobot commando. He throws himself into every mission with no more worries than a duck landing on a pond. He is good friends with the far more relaxed Trailbreaker, although his buddy's flip attitude and refusal to take anything seriously sometimes get on Hound's nerves in grave situations. Still, he's nothing if not a loyal soldier and would sooner go down swinging then abandon his allies on the battlefield.
ALTERNATE MODE
Hound appears in the fourth film as Oshkosh Defense Medium Tactical Vehicle. He retains some aspects of his G1 self such as his colour scheme and head but with a beard, a bullet for a cigar, heavy weaponry and more weight like that of Leadfoot.
