HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BRYAN CHNG AND KIN YEW
I was another tiring day at work yesterday with too many customers coming in during the peak hours, but at least it strengthened my resolve to face any challenge ahead (for now)... all I need to do is check my new school timetable and contemplate whether to continue working or focus on studies totally...
By the end of yesterday, I was relieved when I found out that I, along with 2 more colleagues, dont need to go for POS training on Wednesday afternoon... seems like the colleagues around my age group ( L, N, I and J) can catch up pretty fast with new cashiering system. I dont mind asking for a few practice sessions, but I'm not one to do that.
I'm off to watch Live the Dream now... it's the night of Dance Party Themes and tonight, the Final 4 for the Grand Finale on October 24th will be determined. All the best of luck to the Top 6, most particularly Shauna! ;-)
WWE RAW updates...
- On October 2nd, John Cena suffered a torn right tendon muscle following an assault by Randy Orton, and was hence stripped off the WWE Title after holding it for a rather agonizing 380 days. The website then announced that a new WWE Champion will still be determined at No Mercy 2007, and history will be made as well.
- Randy Orton, the No 1 contender who had been targeting Cena for months, was awarded the WWE Title, but before he could celebrate, he was told by William Regal that he had to defned it against anyone of his choice. A choice was already made when Triple H, an old enemy of Orton since the days of Evolution, showed and challenged Orton for a title shot. The Legend Killer's first reign as WWE Champ came to an end at only 22 minutes as The Game beat him to become 6th time WWE Champ!! Orton's first reign as WWE Champ was the third shortest title reign in WWE title history!
- BUT THAT'S NOT ALL... Triple H was ordered by Vince McMahon to defend his title against Umaga, and once more against Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match... HHH was greatly weakened after his match against the Samoan Bulldozer, and lost the match when he couldn't get up to the referee's 10-count... and history was made as Orton became a 2-time WWE champion in just one night. Triple H's reign as WWE Champ lasted for 2 hrs 20 minutes... the 4th shortest title reign in WWE title history!!
- And on October 9th, as Randy was holding his very own Appreciation Night, he called for Triple H to get into the ring, or else he would go to the backstage area to drag The Game out... just as he was about to make his way to the Titantron, another old enemy of his returned... SHAWN MICHAELS!!! And the Legend Killer got hit with Sweet Chin Music!!

I knew Chan Kin Yew during NS lah... he was under the EMC section, while I was under SOCE transport line. Both companies were under HQ SCE for Nee Soon Camp.
