Dance Floor performance round 4: Modern comtemporary dance

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AZURA (from SFB) AND JADE SEAH!!
25 more days...

Unfortunately, I had to work at night time due to lack of manpower at work (4 people are quitting this month!!), so I can't attend the recordings... also, it doesn't help that Im going to watch a musical next Wed... very sorry, Haphiz! :-(
But I was totally unprepared for the eventual outcome... Soul Fusion ended up at the Bottom 3 AGAIN, Platinum got their first taste at the bottom... and the group going home is... STYLES FROM BEYOND?!?! :-O And to think that SFB were one of the stronger teams!! Still, a new journey had begun for them... so we bid a sad farewell to the 'SFB Ninjas': Khairul, Amsyar, Zaihar, Haphiz, Hanif and Azura. Haphiz, see u in school in 2 weeks' time!

My thoughts on the Final 7... I am in a bit of loss for words with the elimination of my fave group... now for certain, Im not going for the live recordings anymore :-(

Platinum- The gals are looking cute and HAWT in pyjamas (esp Aishah and Andrea). Lots of flexibility and creativity (lol, that portrait of Bill!!)
Styles From Beyond- ELIMINATED!! :-(
J.D.I.- A bit of a safe performance here, but outstanding nevertheless. Although they show a lot of expression, they need to work on flexibility.
Melvin and Sharon- Their performance lacked oomph and passion, but their efforts were commendable.
E Squared- Surprisingly, they didnt go cutesy, but their take on friendship was quite intense yet amazing. Esther outshone her partner Evelyn in this one. But that's still not going to change my mind abt them.
Vas and Pris- Looking as hot as ever, VnP are like the modern Romeo and Juliet. Vasily looking more handsome each week, now wif some resemblance to Topher "Venom" Grace. Priscilla shone very brightly here. Very powerful performance going to Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Comes Around".
Soul Fusion- In spite of bad luck going their way, the foursome still got plenty of fighting spirit, and in terms of technical ability, they are still the TEAM TO BEAT. Not sure what their mascot looked like this time.
Fantastic Four- The quartet had lost a member days prior (Hafeez had to drop out due to NS commitments, when his SISPEC unit refused to grant him leave every Wed night), and indeed their take on modern dance just didn't quite make the cut (they lost a lot fo focus halfway). In great danger of getting the boot next week.

Through the last 3 weeks, it's become too much of a mere coincidence that almost all of the groups (save for Batucadas) that ended up in the Bottom 3 so far are judges' choices. Click on the link to find out more on talent vs the public...
