A mei nu's dream home showcased at Expo

Happy Birthday to Colin Delaney and Kira
Rest in peace, Nicole Lau. May the Good Lord watch over your family...

Nothing seems to be going right today, at least in S'pore Expo. It didn't help either that local singing coach Nicole Lau sucuumbed to skin cancer at ony 34 yrs of age. The sermon today lasted for abt 30 min (is that good or bad?). Then I headed to Bedok to have lunch with an old friend. I guessed it was advantageous of me to go to S'pore Expo earlier at 12 plus, cos I found out that there was a Books Warehouse sale and also a Mega Expo Sale (consisting of stuff like menswear, lingerie, toys, video games, food, etc). Unfortunately, none of the books or goodies seem to catch my interest. Oh, and there was also an all-new Subway outlet at the entrance of Hall 6.

Host for the Home & Design exhibition was veteran actress-cum-getai singer Lin Ru Ping. Special guest appearance by Henry Thia aka Alamak, who played Ru Ping's husband in "Money No Enough 2". Joanne came at 3 plus, talked a bit about her latest happenings, went to take a look at her dream home showcase, and left the place at 4.45 pm. I noticed Benedict Goh among the audience too.

Sighhh, this is what happens when there's security or escorts in a home exhibition... most fans were deprived of the chance to get autographs or take pics with the artiste involved in said event. I admit I was a little bummed out when Joanne had to follow some of the home n design personnel to who-knows-where, but I told myself not to get too bitter over it. When it comes to getting autographs, there will be a next time. At least I'm glad that I managed to give Joanne the orange-flavored sweets I got from Thailand. :-)

Anyway, after Jo zoomed off, I went back home to have dinner with Mother and Tris. Ok, I'll let these few pics do the talking for now, while I recover from this moodiness resulted from the 'mission failure' earlier today, and prepare for the big assignment tomorrow.
