In memory of Steve Irwin (1962-2006)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BEYONCE KNOWLES
This is terrible... Australia's most loved wildlife adventurer Steve Irwin died a horrible death yesterday afternoon. And in a bitter irony to his reputation of handling the world's most danegrous reptiles, he was killed by a usually passive sea creature (yes, u can say "CRIKEY!")... thats right, he was stung by a bull ray. It's a real shame that the world's most famous Crocodile Hunter is now gone all of a sudden... altho I dont know much abt Steve in person (even if I may watch some spisodes of his documentary), I know for sure that he's a very nice guy who loves his family very much. Matter of fact, he agreed to take time off from his usual filming schedules to film some shallow water shots for a segment in the television program his daughter Bindi was hosting, and boy was it a really fatal choice he made. Then again, who can blame him? He swam too close to a 2.5 m large bull ray who eventually struck him in his chest with its spiked barb from its tail and put a hole into his heart. It was believed that either the toxins of the barb caused Irwin to die of an apparent cardiac arrest, or that he died quickly as a result of a punctured aorta, even after he took that barb out of his heart. And some of my classmates felt that the stingray MUST get 'sentenced to death' for the murder of Irwin. Others wanted to roast any stingray into barbecue. And Singapore Idol finalist Mathilda D'Silva impersonated Steve Irwin's accent and antics at the Final 8 roadshow at Orchard Cineleisure abt a month ago.
Rest in peace, Steve Irwin... you will be greatly missed :,-(
