After working from 11 am to 4.30 pm ytd, I was granted an early knock-off and took a bus to the Mediacorp Center, and joined the other Vincent fans in the queue... the passageway to the balcony opened at abt 1815 hrs, and we all sat back and enjoyed the show... the Stefanie Sun fanclub was obviously the most rabid, their screams being the loudest of all. And yet I regretted not bringing my digital camera along... let alone use my cam phone to record certain encounters. My very first time watching a live telecast of the charity event at Mediacorp Center itself was definitely worthwhile, and I had no regrets being part of it (even if I got back home late) :-)
Besides Vincent, we also screamed for Patricia, Ping Hui, Elvin, Kelvin Tan, Stefanie Sun and some of the Singapore Idol finalists. Jon and Paul waved to Kendrick and I (as well as many other SI fans present) while we were waving at Pat... I know for sure they were all very touched by our participation and support :-)
Celebs I saw at Radiogate (2205- 2220 hrs)
- Stefanie Sun (leaving rather quickly in van... wif her diehard supporters chasing after it)
- Project Superstar champion Kelvin Tan Wei Lian (being escorted out by his mum, entering lorry)
- Vincent Ng (he was kind enough to stop the car to chat wif us Vin fans for a good 10 mins)
- Margaret Lee and Henry Thia left together in a car
Celebs I saw at the reception area (2225- 2315 hrs):
- Le Yao (she rushed off rather quickly, but she did wave to me and a few other fans... and I couldnt get her autograph in time. RIGHTTTTTT...)
- Ezann Lee!!! She looks great wif her new hairstyle!! (And apparently 'someone' got the wrong idea that I was trying to record her wif my camera phone... as if I would be interested to record her stuck-up face or chunky figure. Couldnt be bothered wif that snob anyway.. even if she may ba a very big fan of Ezann)
- Koh Cheng Mun ('Dolly' just recovered from cancer... you can tell by her short hair. And yep, she lost a lot of weight)
- Andrea D'Cruz (I thot she got slimmer? Then how come her arms still look beefy?)
- Benedict Goh (yes u heard that right, it's the former Pyramid Game host... he was back as the nerdy Wong Chee Keong in "Happy Belly". But then again, he came back some time back on Channel News Asia, emerging as the winner of the travel category of "Audition Me")
- Nicholas Lee (He was back as Ronnie Tan from the once popular and well-loved sitcom 'Under One Roof', which became way too dysfunctional at the very last season. And he doesnt look anywhere near 40 years old at all)
- Campus Superstar champion Ng Chee Yang
- Miss Singapore Universe 2006 first runner-up Jade Seah (very tall and pretty!!)
- Miss Singapore Universe 2005 finalist Rebecca Lim!!! We both hugged after I got her autograph!! ^_^
- Star Idol champion Bryan Wong Yuan Lee
- Anugerah champion Khairul Anuar
- SuperBand champions Mi Lu Bing (I didnt approach them tho... wasnt too interested in them anyway)
- The Singapore Idol ousted finalists...

Indeed I do haf very close bonds wif Vincent, Patricia, Rebecca and the Singapore Idol finalists (and possibly a few more celebs)... oh man I cant wait to see more of the Singapore Idols this Wed... esp the ones who will be part of the audience :-)
And I just found out from a Singapore Idol commercial during one of the commercial breaks that RUI EN WILL BE GUEST PERFORMING ON THIS THURSDAY'S RESULTS SHOW!!! YEAH BABY YEAH!!!
