Pics taken at 8 days CBFM at Big Splash

Happy Birthday to Michael Cole and Jezabel Ain
Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all Muslims

Today started with a rather heavy downpour, so that sorta gives me a chance to update my blog again, haha!! But I may want to go out somewhere later... can't afford to stay at home for the whole day.

As promised, here are some pics I took at Big Splash yesterday...

I saw this gigantic frog (it's a fake btw) after I alighted from the bus at Amber Gardens... he seemed to be in a rather foul mood, cos he had to keep watch of a garden under the hot sun for many days, and he can't even get to go to East Coast Park because of his duties. And he's certainly not the kind of frog you would want to associate with Rui En's song "Qing Wa".

Entering the rather ulu-looking underpass...

To the Big Splash Playground.

DJ Young and Desiree were the hosts for the event. This time round, the stage region was bigger and more spacious compared to last year's event at St James. Don't you think Desiree looks a bit like Fiona? :-p

Below are pics of Fiona and Nat (2 pm). Nat did a bit of hip-hop dancing, in lieu to his upcoming role in "Dream Catchers" which debuts on Channel 8 in early February. Fiona will play a teacher in an upcoming Channel 5 dramedy titled "Serves U Right". But if you ask me, I feel Felicia makes a hotter teacher.

Pics of Elvin and Jessica Tan (3 pm). The crowd got bigger by a bit compared to earlier on. After the autograph session at the food stall, the MSU 2007 champ Jess stayed behind a little longer to take pic with assorted fans as well as play with a lucky male infant. One thing I wasn't too pleased with was regards to certain procedures with the photographers... they should at least give us a tag or something to remind us to collect our photos lest we forget. Thankfully everyone remembered to collect his/her photo...

Pics of the surrounding at the Big Splash playground. Nothing I fancy, so I didn't buy anything. And no, there was no portrait of Jesus this time round, thugh I did see a few Christian-themed apparel. And what's up with the see-through dresses?

I did take pics of some dancing groups between 5 to 6, but I had decided not to upload any of them here. Way too many dance groups these days, and I certainly didn't go to Big Splash to see any of this. Although I must admit, all the groups are a creative bunch.
Pics of Felicia "Haitong" and Yaodong "Machi" (6 pm)... see what I mean by smokin' hot?? :-p I don't even know if I should become Darth Vader or Venom. The crowd was quite huge this time round, the queue for photo-taking went at record speed, and the 2 lovebirds from "Love Blossoms" got escorted straight into the van, depriving everyone of the chance for autographs! Ah well, at least Yaodong already recognised me from Facebook...
