Knowing about yourself by reading a certain book...

Happy Birthday to Terence Cao, Manu (from WWE), Seng Kwann and Xueting

I read this particular section in Our Daily Bread, and found it to be rather meaningful. Thus I am going to take this time to share it with everyone here...

The Bible is the all-time bestselling book, but in some parts of the world it is banned because it is considered "dangerous and unorthodox". The Bible is dangerous, however, only to those who are afraid of finding out where they went wrong. It's dangerous to those who exploit the weak and the inncoent, who use force to keep others enslaved in poverty and ignorance, who don't want to give up their sinful ways, and who believe that "salvation can be found apart from Christ" (which is not true at all).

No one wants to be told they are wrong (sad but true). No one wants to hear that their behavior is putting themselves and their loved ones in danger, or that God's patience will eventually wear out. Yet that was the message God told the prophet Jeremiah to write down (Jeremiah 36:2)... "Take a scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you... Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, everyone will turn from his eveil way, that i may forgive their wickedness and sin."

When His message was read to King Jehoiakim, the king simply cut up the scroll and threw into the fire (verses 23). The king simply showed no fear and would not listen to the pleas from the advisors to refrain from burning the scroll; instead, he ordered for the arrest of Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah (verses 24 to 26). Yet Jeremiah didn't give up, he sent a few more scrolls to King Jehoiakim and continued to trust in the Lord, even at the expense of being thrown into jail.

The only way to know we are right is to be willing to discover where we are wrong. Read the all-time bestselling "banned book", and let it reveal to you the truth about God- and about yourself.

P.S. CAN YOU DIG THAT, MKP/KOH TS??? Only YOU can change yourself for the better if you are willing to do some self-reflection and realize the errors of your ways. Who the f**k are you to say that others have 'no life' when you yourself have NO LIFE at all?? I know too well that you're going to delete (or should I say, 'cut up and burn'?) the next comment I'm planning to drop in any of your Youtube videos, that's why I've decided to make this message much more direct by publishing it here, even though I sense that you're not gonna read it anyway. However, if you're going to turn a deaf ear on this advice and continue to be the abominable, despicable S.O.B. that you've always been... then I'm sorry to say, you might just as well GTH. IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!
